Located in a cabin community in Lygna, 630 meters above sea level, this cabin features nearly five meters of ceiling height and large windows offering spectacular views of Norefjell. Here, you can put on your skis right outside the door in the winter, or enjoy summer evenings on the terrace as the sun sets behind the distant mountains.
The interior features a consistent Scandinavian style with furniture from well-known design brands, a green kitchen, and petroleum blue accents in the living room. The fireplace heats up quickly, and with underfloor heating and a lovely bathtub, it’s the perfect place to warm up after a long day out skiing. The loft has glass railings and two separate bedrooms where you can retreat. One of them also serves as a separate TV room.
You can drive right up to the door and charge your car outside. The storage shed has room for skis and sleds in the winter. The terrace is spacious, and in the summer, electric awnings on the outside provide good sun protection. The internet connection is good, and there’s a desk in the loft.
In the winter, the area offers a cross-country skiing paradise in every direction, with trails right outside the door and a dedicated ski stadium nearby. In the summer, you can fish, swim, and go canoeing on Lake Lygnavannet, which is one kilometer away. Lygnasæter serves traditional home-style cooking, and the area features bike paths and hiking trails. Gran and Brandbu are down in the village, while Oslo is just over an hour away.
