Great Place to Host a Larger Group

The homes had nice indoor and outdoor spaces for gathering and were overall a wonderful place to host a family reunion. The homes were clean and beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay.

Great Location for Corporate Retreat

We booked for four nights to have a group of 25 colleagues meet to discuss business. The property worked out excellent, and we all really enjoyed the experience. It was much nicer to connect this way as compared to staying in hotels. Property has plenty of space and lots of activities available. We would stay again!

Famiky reunion

The farm house was the perfect setting for our multi generational reunion. It was well equipped to meet our needs, and loved the fact there were bikes and paddle boards to use. The lawn area was perfect for kids activities.

Great family Reunion place!

We have been here several times for our large family reunion, and everyone loves going here. We always use both houses and love the big lawn between them for games, dances, and even exercise! The bikes are really fun but a couple of them need some repairs. The houses are always clean and well stocked. Thanks for a wonderful time!

This property is wonderful! We had a group of 67 family members. We were able to provide private bedrooms for most of the families! The farmhouses are so thoughtfully laid out, with families in mind! There were so many nice touches that made it fun for all ages. Sweet toys for little ones, game rooms and theater rooms for teenagers. The grassy area in the middle was the perfect place for the family to gather!The bedrooms are so comfortable! Especially the rooms with a queen bed plus built in bunk beds! The kitchen was well stocked. Travis answered all my questions promptly. He also graciously gave us a tour a year and a half before our stay.

Reunion 2023

We had a fantastic time at the farm houses in bear lake! Out family reunion of 42 people Perfect location as well!was perfectly facilitated in the houses with room for everyone and all of our planned activities. We had family pictures taken with the backdrop of the house so that we could remember our stay. The yard games and outdoor equipment helped us enjoy our stay. The kitchens are well equipped for all of our food plans and we felt like it was the perfect fit for us!!

Family Reunion Weiss Extravaganza

The stay was amazing!!! Bedrooms were comfy and fit the needs of our family needs. Social areas and kitchen worked out great for fixing meals. Adequate fridge space. Pitchers are needed. Our kids loved the foosball table etc. movie room. The grass area was a safe place for our kids to play. We had family Olympics and The grassy area worked out great we would come again. We did notice that some of the lights were out in the bedrooms.

We LOVED it!

When looking for homes to house 70 people and 15 families, sometimes (really always) it can be hard to find a location that can accommodate everyone's needs. The Farmhouses were perfect for our family! It was great to have a place to congregate. The teenagers had their own space and the littles were in sight. There wasn't anything that was missing. We used the bikes, paddleboards, and lawn games. Everyone in my family wants to come back! Thank you for everything. You helped make our reunion simply epic!

Fabulous Family Reunion!

Our 70 family members all agree that we couldn’t think of a better place to hold our reunion! The houses were charming, so well appointed with all the cooking utensils you could possibly need. The houses were even better than the pictures....with lots of room for gathering and play. Because Of the floor-plan and size of the homes, everywhere we looked, different age groups were visiting and having fun! We loved the green grass area for playing 9 square, holding evening firesides and showing movies. The owners were responsive to our every need...by text or or by phone. ....honestly, It was the most wonderful reunion we’ve ever had.

Fantastic Farmhouses for Family Reunion

First time to Bear Lake for our family reunion and I don't think we could have stayed in a better place!! The farmhouses were wonderful for our family. The large fully stocked kitchen and eating areas were perfect for our family meals and the grassy area between the farmhouses provided a wonderful safe area for the kids to play. The kids said this was the best reunion ever! They enjoyed all of the fun parts of the farmhouses (grass yard, shuffleboard table, Foosball, playrooms with slides, bikes, etc.) The addition of the horseshoe pits kept our family horseshoe tournament tradition alive and well and were enjoyed by all. Great location, beautiful accommodations, great sleeping arrangements, plenty of parking, and extremely comfortable day and night! Thanks to owners for providing this for large family reunions!! We would very highly recommend to others families!

GREAT HOUSE FOR A FAMILY REUNION!

We held our family reunion for 68 people ranging from 6 months to 85. Rented the entire property and it absolutely exceeded all our expectations. We loved having the grassy area to hang out, play games, put up a volleyball net, and we utilized all the yard games provided as well as just relaxed. We were able to have adult evening time after the kids went down and the houses were so perfect for that. Houses are well equipped for a crowd and very thought out. We are so sad to leave and many of the children said they want to come back because it was so fun. The weather was chilly for June so not much lake action but the that was ok because the houses and grassy area allowed for lots of play time. We improvised and were so grateful the houses accommodated that so well. No complaints and lots and lots of great memories!

Best floor plan for family reunion

We loved having plenty of space for our family to sleep. The queen bed with bunk bed combo was so helpful for all the small families that joined us for the family reunion. There were a few families that turned down the master bedroom because it just works better to have a bunk. Nobody felt like they got the "bad room," every room is cute and comfy. The kitchen was well equipped, high chairs were put to use and the couches are comfy and quality. Nobody ever had to wait to use the restroom or shower. The leather sectional around the fire place was so cozy and enjoyable to gather at. Those above the garage appreciated a quiet place to escape to. The owners were very responsive when we had questions. The only downside is the echo in the main living area. It made it difficult to hear people relatively close to you and made it seem more noisy that it actually was.

Family Reunion Dream Home

We were looking for a good place to house our large multi-generational family and we were lucky enough to find the Farmhouses. We rented both homes, but primarily hung out in just one of them. There was plenty of room for everyone and the kitchen and great room were perfect and well appointed. It's the first VRBO that had a kitchen with almost every single thing we needed and we love to cook so we used the kitchen. They had yard games (corn hole, spike ball, paddleboards, etc.), theater room, game area for kids and plenty of seating inside and out. The kids rooms were fun and entertaining, with rock walls, ropes to climb and other fun distractions. Foosball, darts, air hockey and shuffleboard between both homes. The front yard and porch were our nightly tradition. We had plenty of hot water for showers, there were tons of linens for the beds and bathrooms. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and it's also the first VRBO that I wasn't wanting to get back to my own bed and pillow. The owner was responsive and helpful. The only reason I would hesitate to give a 5-star review is because I want it available for every family reunion!

Great place for large family reunions

We loved it. The place is well thought out. The design and layout are ideal for housing large groups with both married couples and teens. The kitchens and dining spaces are large and open, allowing for gathering, games, etc. It has nice theater rooms with strong wifi to stream movies, sports, etc. Overall, we really had a great time.

Beautiful home away from home!

We had family from several states all meet in the middle for a reunion at Bear Lake. The Farmhouses were great for our sized group (60+) We had lots of room to hang out and play. There's also enough room to find some quiet for babies that needed naps. We rented both houses and had a great time! The owners were super nice and responded quickly to any messages. We had an issue with breakers popping in the kitchen. We tried to plug two griddles, a coffee maker, waffle iron, etc and unfortunately it just couldn't handle the load. We found that if we used the bathroom counter just off the kitchen for the coffee maker and ran and extension cord to the living room for a griddle we could get by just fine. Bear Lake was fantastic and we are so glad we got to make so many great memories! Thank you!

Beautiful, Fun, Clean, Huge, Perfect for our Family Reunion of 80

The Farmhouses were AWESOME! The property came equipped with plenty of towels, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, and trash bags for all 80 of us during our 4-night stay in late July. The owners also provided extra folding tables and chairs so we could seat everyone at mealtimes and got back to us right away whenever we texted with a question. As happens with any items that get used a lot by renters, the toys provided are now a bit worn. For example, the 4 paddle boards are missing fins which makes them harder to paddle (but we still enjoyed them nonetheless) and the 2 cornhole games need new bean bags (as several are missing or have beans spilling out). But the 4 bikes were working and people from our group had fun taking them out on the bike path. Both houses have theater rooms, some games, and toys in the long bunkrooms. The decor was beautiful, beds and bedding were comfy, & there were plenty of pans etc. to cook with (including 2 crockpots in each house). We only suggest some window coverings in the main room to keep the heat out and a couple of added armchairs in the main rooms for more comfortable/usable seating options for the elderly and for extra seating in general when gathering.

Heaven on Earth!

We gathered at both of the farmhouses for a family reunion with about 80 family members ranging from infants to my parents in their 80s. We played, laughed, danced, talked all day! The kitchens were spacious and we had all we needed including high chairs and gourmet cooking appliances. There was plenty of room for everyone and it made me so happy to find groups of cousins, aunts and uncles playing games, watching movies, and talking here and there. The long bunk rooms had fun toys for kids and the game room areas were fun as well! We all gathered on the lawn the first night but on the second and third nights we gathered in one of the living rooms/kitchens and we all fit just fine. Garden City was a blast too! We swam, hiked, and climbed the ropes course at Bridgerland. Shakes and burgers at Zips and La Beaux were a must too! Travis and Lynzie responded to our questions and made sure we had what we needed. It is very hard to find a place that can accommodate a family the size of ours and I am so grateful to have found the Farmhouses!! Thank you so much!!

The Farmhouses were Wonderful for our Family Reunion

We took our family of 54 to the Farmhouses for a Monday to Friday family reunion. The facility was everything we hoped it would be. The hosts were responsive to questions. The facilities were fully stocked, clean, and ready for our stay. The kitchens worked well for our planned family menus. There we're lots of games and activities for the children to do when we were not off visiting other attractions in the Bear Lake area. The sleeping accomodations were excellent. The Farmhouses were wonderful for our family size. Either one alone would be a fine place to stay for a smaller group.

Beautiful

The houses are warm, inviting and beautifully decorated. Kitchens well stocked with needed appliances and we were left in peace with no interruptions for our workshop. Appreciated the clear communication and arranging of things prior. FYI - for the yoga studio at their home, the bathroom is in the house, so either Travis or Linzey would need to be disturbed going in and out. We didn't end up using that studio, but t worked fine to use the houses. :) Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great family reunion place.

We did a family reunion at both houses. Both homes were well stocked and setup for entertaining many people. I thought that having two homes would keep everyone somewhat separated, but it turned out to be the perfect combo of yin and yang. We loved the big open areas that helped to bring everyone together, with enough room to spread out and have some privacy when needed. A great combination.

What a Fabulous place for a reunion!

Thank you, once again, for letting us rent your fabulous homes! They are so perfect for our family of about 75 people! With large living areas, we ate in one kitchen/living area and held our nightly firesides in the other building. So much room to spread out and be together! Most of all, we love the grassy area in the middle for playing Nine Square and other lawn games! The whole week so fun as we strengthened family friendships…a happy memory!

Clean, Beautiful and Well-equipped

We needed a lot of space and room bed flexibility for our reunion this year and this place was very accommodating for all 63 of us. The house are Well-equipped with plenty of kitchen appliances, indoor and outdoor games and linens. The houses were clean and any minor issues were quickly resolved by the owner. Highly recommend!
