Cottage with terraces on three sides, idyllic isle

At this cabin on an idyllic, car-free island, you’ll have access to large outdoor areas and terraces on three sides. You can follow the sun, seek shelter from the wind, or light a fire in the fire pit in the evening. The island is a 15-minute speedboat ride from Stavanger.



Inside, the cabin is bright and cozy, featuring light colors and wide, stained wilderness-style paneling on one wall. The bathroom was renovated in 2022 and decorated in a cabin style.



You can pick blueberries on the property right outside the terrace. In the garden, shrubs and flowers change color with the seasons. The cabin’s shared dock offers opportunities for swimming, fishing, and crab fishing, and there is access to a shared boathouse and a private storage shed for swim gear and fishing equipment.



The island features several marked trails through the forest, along the water, and by the lake. A large freshwater lake with a swimming area is just a few minutes from the cabin. The cabin also has its own boat slip for guests arriving by boat.
