Can’t think of a more perfect place for a secluded, peaceful, nature-filled getaway. 10 stars!! Unique, comfortable, well-stocked cabin with a hot tub on the back porch…perfect for watching the sunset over the expansive sloped back yard complete with firepit, pond, and a couple golf holes! We have stayed here 4 times and plan to keep going back!

Very clean and peaceful. The cabin was exactly as described. The hot tub was amazing. We loved how secluded the cabin is. Perfect size for the two of us. We cannot wait to stay again.

It was a perfect secluded getaway from the hustle and bustle of life! A beautiful little slice of heaven! From fishing at the lake, walking the wooded trail to relaxing in the hot tub. There were plenty things to do to keep occupied! 10/10 recommend!

Nice place. Enjoyed the privacy and all the deer/wild life! Great place to go unplug. It was raining some of our trip but was able to sit and relax on the deck overlooking the pond. Would recommend a visit.

What a piece of paradise!

If your looking for a place to relax and unwind from the daily hustle, this is it! Grab some groceries and never leave the property or take the short drive to Metropolis or Paducah. You can do as little or as much as you want. Would recommend to anyone! Everything in the description is exact! Cant wait to book our next stay!

Anniversary trip

We had a really wonderful time and loved the seclusion. The hot tub was great, the bed was comfy, and the pond was fun to fish. Walked the woods and had a big fire in the pit. We really enjoyed ourselves!

Really beautiful

It’s a lovely piece of property and a beautiful cabin. Unfortunately there was an issue with the bed that caused us to cancel our weekend after a few hours staying. Having said that the property owners worked with us on a refund and again it is a lovely place.

Great place to have some quiet time

Loved the cabin. It was updated and clean. It had everything we needed. The hot tub was clean and enjoyable. The backyard/porch was an awesome place to watch the sunset and relax. Very private. My only complaint is about the bed. The mattress seemed old or maybe the box spring was broken down the middle. My husband and I both rolled to the middle while laying in the bed. It was hard to stay on your own side with a dip in the middle as bad as the one in the bed. It was very uncomfortable. We did not get very good sleep. Overall, I would go back again since the outdoor space is so enjoyable. I just hope they fix the bed situation.

Love the Location

All and all our stay was wonderful. The location of this property is exactly what we were looking for beautiful views tucked away from the rest of the world. The cabin was clean and well maintained. Only a few updates may help a comfier stay in the future. The first night we arrived it had stormed the last visitor or person in the house must have forgot to strap hot tub cover down, so it was nowhere to be found in the dark and hot tub was cold (we found it next morning cleaned it off and put it back on hot tub then worked great!). The power also went out and made our first night more interesting maybe some candles or a lantern be a nice thing to have there. Wi-Fi was nonexistent and only basic cable which we knew but the DVD player they had was broken when we tried to use it. Lastly the bed could definitely use an upgrade it was a little to broken in and hurt both our backs. Overall, our stay was pleasant and well worth it just a few fixes and this would have been a definite five-star review and return visit just the location alone may get us to give it another visit but I'm bringing a mattress to sleep on haha.

This property is our dream come true. It is the perfect getaway for relaxing, recharging, and enjoying the best nature has to offer. It's been such an amazing place for us, we wanted to give others an opportunity to enjoy it.

この宿泊施設の特徴

The entrance to the property is a beautiful path through the center of the woods, which opens up into a breathtaking meadow in the back. It's a picture-perfect setting for the cabin, overlooking the lake for a gorgeous sunset. It's also very close to many attractions, including wineries, Tunnel Hill Bike Trail, Ohio River, Mermet Springs Scuba Diving, and a other state nature areas like Mermet Lake. There is much to do nearby or you can bring your fishing pole and fish the lake for a nice catfish cook-it-up-on-the-grill dinner. If you prefer you can also sit by the fire or relax in the hot tub under the stars for the rest of the night. Don't forget to watch for the amazing wildlife. There is something for everyone here.
