Hi Andrew, we got plugged in recently and read your review. I’m sorry about one of the neighbors dog barking, they must have been gone for the night I assume. Wanted to let you know that we did have some standard oven trays in the drawer under the oven, but perhaps you didn’t see them? We did have a baking sheet but the cleaning crew couldn’t find one when I asked them to look for it, so it’s gone missing and they didn’t notice. I apologize it was missed and is now being replaced. If you had reached out to either of us or our manager during your stay we could have helped you find the oven trays we did have, in the event you didn’t see them. We do have a king size memory foam mattress in the master and memory foam can feel on the softer side for some. We openly welcome feedback from our guests as we genuinely care about our guests experience. Jackie

Thank you for your feedback. We are truly sorry the a/c wasn't working upon arrival! It was functioning while the cleaning crew was there the day before. Unfortunately these things can go out without warning. We did our very best in getting the condenser fan motor replaced first thing the next day. In regards to ants and spiders on our property, our property is well maintained with regular cleanings inside and we also have a contract with Eco Strike a green pest control company that services our home to help minimize bugs and pests. However, our home is in the Sierra mountains, so the occasional ant or spider may still show up from time to time, especially in these warmer months. I did mention your feedback to our manager so she can be aware of your concerns. We appreciate your comments and are always looking for ways to improve as we genuinely do our best to provide a wonderful stay for our guests.

Hello Gilbert, Thank you for your feedback, and we’re truly sorry for the inconveniences you experienced. The washing machine unfortunately began leaking while our cleaners were doing laundry prior to your arrival and we regret that this issue affected your stay. We informed you as soon as we were made aware, but unfortunately could not get it repaired that same day. We also sincerely apologize for the items missed during the cleaning process—we have addressed this with them directly to ensure greater attention to detail moving forward. We hold our cleaning crew to very high standard, in fact we require photos of every room after every clean. Regarding the trash, it was most likely a bear. Bears are known to pass through the area during this season, and we do what we can to prevent them from getting into the trash. Inevitably, they do still get into it from time to time, most often when the trash is taken out for pick up. If you had notified us of this during your stay, our manager would have come by and made sure it was all cleaned up again. We truly appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention. We have addressed these concerns with our manager and cleaning crew. We genuinely care and want to ensure all of our guests have a great experience during their stay. Jackie & Lambert
