Great cabin!

Loved our stay at Winter Is Coming. The beautiful log home was perfectly clean and well stocked. The hot tub was awesome. On a quiet cul de sac, just minutes from bars, restaurants, the lake. Highly recommend.

Valentine's day weekend getaway!

Amazing property and location! Hot tub was awesome! Loved being so close to some of our favorites.. Perfect for our family of 4 and fur babies. Can't wait to return!

Anniversary trip

We stayed for 3 nights for an anniversary getaway. The property is very nice and clean. Everything was well stocked and everything we needed was there. We would rent the property again, maybe in the summer when its a little warmer.

Deep Creek Lake Cabin

Our first time visiting Deep Creek Lake and we loved it. The cabin was clean, comfortable and close to everything we needed yet still secluded. A nice place stay and I would stay here again!

Nice place!

Close to everything but feels removed since it's at the end of a closed street. Loved the indoor hot tub and air hockey!

Loved our stay

We loved our stay. There were four kids and four adults and it was perfect. Everything was as expected or better. My grandfather absolutely enjoyed the place so that speaks volumes. Thank you for great communication and a wonderful experience.

Great location

Close to area parks, restaurants and shopping. Chris was able to accommodate a last minute reservation thanks to coastal hurricane ruining our beach plans.

Late winter getaway

We decided to get away for a long weekend and this was the perfect place! Our kiddos had a blast, as did we! The cabin was in such a great location and our host was extremely helpful and communicative to our questions and needs! Highly recommend!

Great stay!

House was lovely and perfect for a weekend away to do some skiing. The house was clean and cozy and had everything we needed to enjoy the stay. Owner called the day before check in with very clear instructions and helpful tips for the area attractions. We’d highly recommend this property, great for a small group/family.

We spent 5 nights here and it was amazing! The Cabin was very clean and big and we had an amazing experience the owner was super nice and I would highly suggest staying here if you are in the area. We will definitely be back!

Had an amazing time with our fur babies! The place was neat and clean, relaxing and very homey. Great location! Amazing views from the upstairs balcony! The indoor spa made this place the perfect choice for us and our fur family. Thank you!

Fantastic

We absolutely loved this place. The hot tub was awesome! The house was clean and had a fully equipped kitchen. The air hockey table and Pac-Man were a big hit too! Can’t wait to go back next year!

A great getaway

First time to Deep creek and we will return. We enjoyed all the amenities in the house especially the hot tub. Definitely would recommend “the winter is coming” and we will be back.

1-Night Stay at Winter is Coming

We only stayed one night as we were passing thru Deep Creek, but enjoyed the amenities at Winter is Coming. The house was clean and comfortable. Communication with Chris the property manager was good and we were thankful that we could bring our pup with us.

Cute place - great location

We had a good time. The location was really good. Close enough to everything, but very private. The home was clean and well stocked. The front porch swing was great to sit on with your morning coffee and a good book. We had our elderly dogs with us, and this was a great property for them also.

Beautiful cabin in a great location

We really enjoyed our long weekend at the cabin. The front porch swing, the hot tub, the fire pit, the balcony was everything we were looking for to have a relaxing time. The interior of the cabin is beautiful and clean. We hiked Swallow Falls and a trail at Deep Creek State Park and both were just a short drive. Plenty of nice restaurants close by. We are already talking about another trip when the weather is a bit warmer and we can kayak. We would definitely stay here again. Also very nice that we were able to bring our dog.

Our stay at the cabin

We had an amazing time at the cabin very home setting like type of feel. The kids enjoyed the fire out back and the air hockey table. Just were alittle bummed when we found out we wouldn’t have the use of the hot tub in our cabin that was the selling point of this cabin when we booked it. Chris the owner of the cabin was nice enough to let us us another one of his cabins hot tub for a night. Still was a little bummed not having ours working to use all the time but we did get to use one once. Overall it was a great stay! 😊

Great week

Our family had a great week. The house was perfect for the 4 of us. Location was close to everything. We knew that we were coming at an off time, after the ski season but before the boats are in the water. We made the most of it and hiked and saw most of the area waterfalls, which were spectacular. But the house was great for us! Each teenager had their own room and TV, and they played the Arcade game for hours! Indoor hot tub was great since it was cold and snowed one night! House was super clean and really felt like home! Will definitely need to come back in the summer months to enjoy the lake more!

Ski weekend

We rented Winter is Coming for a ski weekend to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The house is in a great location at the lake and only ten minutes from Wisp Resort. We didn’t get to ski the first day due to lack of snow but the kids didn’t mind at all because they were able to spend more time in the hot tub and playing air hockey and PAC Man instead! The house was cozy, had ample linens for our large family of eight, and was on a nice quiet street. It was a plus that we were able to bring our two dogs as well. Chris was very friendly and answered all my questions including giving recommendations of places to eat. We had a great weekend and will definitely return in the future!

Overall 2 stars

When we first arrived we noticed things were laying out that were not child friendly such as, bath salts in the hot tub room. There was mold on the framing of the door in that room. Mold in the downstairs bathroom and sinks were clogged. Silverware drawers were not clean. We went to get in the hot tub one evening and there was way too much chemical in it (it immediately smelt up the whole room and we didn't feel safe getting in). The upstairs deck looks like it's drooping in the middle (not like the photo listed). You pay a cleaning fee expecting to come in and have a clean house or at least pretty decent and in return you have to clean it when you get there, don't get to use all of the amenities and then have to also load the dishwasher, and washer before you leave. This is not a kid friendly place whatsoever. No bath tubs.
