Great complex

Had a great time! Beach was a short walk across the road and the pool area was beautiful resort like. Will look at staying here again.

This condo was more expensive than past 2 bedroom at gs surf and racquet but, appeared nice. In past, condos had keypad locks. This condo we had to check in a few miles away and turn keys back in(the desk secretary or host called me before 11 to make sure we were coming with no thank you for staying. There was still time left before key drop off limit…felt rushed and inconvienced. Old decor and stained cushions etc was left in closets. Baseboards etc was dusty, paint peeled, unkept looking. ISSUE WITH WASHER, WATER DID NOT DRAIN. ALL TOWELS NOW WET AND SHOWERS NEEDED FOR DINNER. CALLED TO REQUEST TOWELS AND REPORT FOR MAINTENANCE. 30 min LATER CALLED AGAIN. RECEIVED A CALL 3 HRS LATER STATING HOUSE KEEPING COMING. AT 11PM (6 HOURS AFTER FIRST REPORT, HOUSEKEEPING BROUGHT TOWELS AND MAINTENANCE NEVER CAME…WE HAD TO USE SANDY BEACH TOWELS WHILE WAITING). NO OFFER FOR ANY PARTIAL CREDITS OR ACCOMMODATIONS. HAVE STAYED AT THIS PROPERTY FOR OVER 18 YEARS AND WORST EXPERIENCE AND OBVIOUSLY DUE TO BRETT AND ROBINSON.

We have stayed at GSSR several times. I appreciate the prices, convenient beach access, family environment and beautiful pool. I also appreciate the option to book for less than a full week to accommodate my schedule.

Nice Condo with Great Beach Views & Access

ProsThe condo offers an exceptional location, situated directly across from the beach access walkway. The patio features high-quality furniture, including two rocking chairs, two gliders, & a double-seat chair with a beach view. Additionally, there are three large patio doors. On-site security provides an added layer of safety. The beach was not overcrowded & we appreciated the convenience of chair rentals as we flew in. If you are bringing your beach chairs, don't worry, the rental company does not overcrowd the entire beach. Overall, I would book this condo again.ConsA separate location is required for key pickup & drop-off, although the process is quick and straightforward. Parking is 30. Noise from the parking lot can be heard from in the front bedroom, potentially disturbing light sleepers. The screen doors lack a locking mechanism, instead featuring an old-school bar at the bottom; however, we felt secure throughout our stay. One of the patio doors the handle does move, and it can be difficult to shut. The condo requires a thorough deep cleaning, paying attention to details such as vents, bathroom ceiling fans, shower door ledges, walls, and shower drains, which contained a clump of the previous guest's hair. Pic shows kayaks, not includedInfo outside of rentalUber fares to the Hangout or airport will range from 12-17 each way, depending on time of day and not including tip. A crucial note for flyers: Hertz is NOT located at the airport only Enterprise & Alamo
