Argentina Country Chalet with Lush Grounds, Pool, Security in exclusive La Cumbr

Welcome to our treasured family home of many years!

Built in the early 1900's, this charming and elegant 2 bed, 2 bath British-style Chalet serves as a picturesque backdrop to any Cordoba Vacation. La Cumbre is well known for its diverse, mountainous landscape, rural character, outdoor activities, historic homes and clubs.

The Property is located in the exclusive Cruz Grande Neighborhood of La Cumbre, between Cruz Chica and Los Cocos. The La Cumbre town center is a 5 min. drive away, lending to the properties quiet rural character. On the property is a small guest house, where our Casero (grounds keeper) lives. He maintains the property on a daily basis and is very respectful of your privacy and attentive to any needs you may have. We own two older sibling dogs of mixed Terrier/Labrador breed, to whom our Casero tends. They have been in our family since birth, are not bothersome, and are very loyal to the house and its occupants.

The Entrance is through a bespoke stone entry with metal gates entering our private home estate. The property is accessed from the main road through a secure, custom designed stone wall and locking metal gate. There is no visibility into the property from the street, offering maximum privacy for guests.

The House is made in traditional brick and adobe, with oak wood doors and parquet flooring. You will enter through a sun porch that has a dining table that is the perfect place to enjoy breakfast or a traditional mate. Hang up your coat in the entry room.

The Living Room is a stylish collection of furniture and objects from around the world. Enjoy a warm fire while looking out into the grounds. Beautiful writing desk and lots of seatings to host your family and friends.

The Kitchen has been tastefully renovated, is well suited for preparing large meals and includes all expected equipment and appliances. Dine in the living room on large rustic coffee table, formal dining room or in the sun-room patio, as we often do in the summer months.

The Bedrooms are furnished with antique furnishings collected through out Argentina. One bedroom features a full bed, second bedroom features a California King brought from California.

The Grounds are full of trees, flowers and cut grass, great for children to run and play. The in-ground pool is large, private and has luxurious views of the large trees and nearby mountains. In prime season, the properties plant life offers eatable grapes, figs, rosemary, walnuts, sage, and mint.

There is ample space for secure car/motorcycle parking, including under a covered carport garage.
