This apartment was a terrific fit for our family of 3 (2 adults, one teenager.) It was roomy enough to spread out, and having a kitchen and laundry facilities was great. There are two different grocery stores very close by. Note that there are two shower rooms but only one toilet; it worked fine for us, but having any more than 3 teens/adults probably would have felt cramped (at least for us). The apartment is also close to 2 different Metro stations, which was really convenient. The neighborhood is not touristy at all; we rarely heard English spoken on the street and we loved feeling like we were really experiencing the local culture.Although this apartment is listed as having air conditioning, it actually just has a couple of cooling towers, which is not the same as central air (and is not what most Americans would think of as A/C.) When I saw the forecast for our stay (an intense heat wave in June 2026), I reached out to Emmanuelle and she was kind enough to procure the second cooling tower for us, which was extremely helpful - I'm not sure we could have kept the living area bearable during the afternoon without it. We made it work, but if you are particularly sensitive to heat, you may want to think twice about booking this property in the summer (these heat waves in Paris can be very unpredictable.) Still, I would highly recommend this apartment - Emmanuelle is a fantastic host, and we really did feel like we were living like Parisians for a week!
