A magical two weeks in Gordes

My husband and I along with two friends loved our time in this comfortable and cozy home in Gordes. It is within an easy walk to the village and our hostess, Anna, was so helpful with great suggestions on the best places to go in the village for coffee, markets, groceries, bike rental etc. it was perfect for us.

Tolles Objekt und tolle Gastgeber

Gordes bietet eine tolle Kulisse und ist ein wunderbarer Ort um die Provence zu entdecken. Vor allem wenn gegen Abend die Tagestouristen den Ort verlassen. Die Ferienwohnung ist kompakt, gut geschnitten und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Die Poolanlage ist schön, sehr sauber und sowohl für kleine Kinder als auch durch die 20m Bahn zum Schwimmen geeignet. Vor allem waren wir jedoch von der Gastgeberin Anna begeistert, die immer auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen ist und sowohl in der Vorbereitung als auch während des Aufenthalts mit Tipps und Empfehlungen zur Seite stand. Sie hat uns sogar unentgeltlich Kleidung nachgesendete, die wir vor Ort vergessen hatten. Bravo und vielen Dank! Wir können diese Ferienwohnung nur Wärmsteins weiterempfehlen!

Cute little oasis

Nice ground level unit with 2 beds, 1 bath. It was a good size for our family of 4, kids ages 5&6. The bed near the bathroom is more comfortable than the other bed that has big dips in it. The couch is very worn and is covered by a blanket due to it pealing. The courtyard was nice to lounge however found the loungers to be a butt breaker so used pillows to use as cushions. The pool was freezing. It was gorgeous but really cut down on pool time. Loved playing ping pong! The hosts were great! The location to town was amazing!

Die Außenanlage ist sehr schön und gepflegt. In der Wohnung riecht es sehr unangenehm nach Moder, das Bad hat Schimmel an der Decke und in der Dusche, die Küche und das Geschirr waren schmutzig. Das Sofa ist kaputt. Wir sind früher abgereist.

Superbes vacances, appartement idéal !

Voyage en mai 2021, hors saison touristique. La résidence était très très calme, propre et agréable. Tres belle piscine avec de nombreux transats (encore fraîche en cette saison) mais propre et vraiment agréable. Idéalement situé à 5 min de gordes en voiture ou 15 min à pied. Grand parking sécurisé, et accès à des machines à laver si besoin et pas cher (toujours appréciable avec un bébé). L'appartement a tous les équipements nécessaires pour passer un bon séjour : autant dans la cuisine que dans la salle de bain (lave vaisselle, sèche cheveux, base de produits alimentaires et d'hygiène). Et nous avons eu la bonne surprise de trouver un lit parapluie sur place, top ! Le propriétaire vous donnera en plus de bons conseils pour de très jolies ballades dans la région, il y a de quoi faire et gordes est central et donc idéal pour rayonner dans la région. Bref un petit coin de paradis !

Exceptionnel

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Le propriétaire est très serviable et arrangeant. L’appartement est très bien entretenu, très propre et très calme dans un lotissement privé avec des constructions en pierre. Nous y retournerons certainement prochainement et vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.

Great base for a relaxing Provence stay

Lovely gite, had everything we needed. Anna was so helpful and accommodating. The short walk I to Gordes was perfect for croissants in the morning and a meal in the evening. Great pool, always able to get a lounger. Had a lovely week and will recommend to friends, so long as we dont want to return at the same time!!

Delightful

Great location. We felt safe the entire time at the gated community where the apartment is located. Everything worked well in the apartment. We received the keys and gave back the apartment in agreement with Anna ( the owner). She was very accommodating. She had all the information needed about the apartment and the area in a tray on a table in the living room. That was very useful. Everything went as planned.

A pieceful resort 8 minuts walk from amazing Gordes

The comfortable home was placed in a pieceful resort with around 40 homes and a big, Commons swimmingpool - just 8 minuts walk from amazing and beautiful Gordes. It is a perfect place for a family. The hostess was very friendly and gave us a lot of good tips where to go and where to eat.

We loved our stay at this property. It was a home away from home while in the property.

Anna did a fabulous job of making us feel welcome and making sure we had all of the information we needed to have a wonderful time while in Provence. She provided us with tons of information about grocery stores, restaurants, site seeing etc. She recommended her favorite restaurant Le Carillion in Goult. We highly recommend this restaurant as it was so charming, the food was beyond fabulous and the ambience was what you would expect in a small town in Provence. Thank you Anna and we will definitely be back next time we visit the area!

Convenient base for touring Provence Luberon villages and sights.

The apartment was spacious and as advertized mostly. We enjoyed our stay and felt it was good value for our 3 night stay. Bedrooms comfy and kitchen furnishings and living space just fine. Small improvements would raise rating to 5 stars: Larger bath towels, toilet seat lid tightening to stay up, stowing cleaning supplies away from kitchen (out of sight, no smell from mop). The gated community here is private, quiet, and a short walk to Gordes with awesome viewpoints within and outside the property. Anna was very responsive and helpful throughout our booking and arrival process. Maps, tourist info, books provided are appreciated. As property managers ourselves, my wife and I offer the minor suggestions to sustain high client satisfaction ratings.

A perfect space for 2 friends

We were visiting Provence in search of a villa for a family vacation. Anna's apartment was a perfect location. It was clean, the beds were very comfortable. The only suggestion would be to have some sharper cutting knives.

Exactly as advertised

The property is exactly as advertised (sometimes not always the case!). Although quite small the space was well organised. It was clean and well equipped. Emmanuel and Anna, the owners, were very helpful and informative. The property is less than ten minutes walk into Gordes. We didn't use the pool but it was an incredibly attractive amenity. No hesitation in recommending.

Perfect spot for our Provence headquarters

My husband and two teenage daughters spent 5 days in this charming property for our stay in Gordes. It was the perfect location for our many planned activities: horse back riding, hiking, tourist sites, wineries, and markets. Food is expensive in France, so it was nice to have a well stocked and clean kitchen to prepare meals at home and save our Euros for the markets :) Though it was a bit chilly for the first few days, the girls did manage to swim a bit and make use of the ping pong table. Gordes is a stunning town, and it was just a 10 minute walk to get there. The main picture for this listing is just a three minute stroll from the property - it really does look like something from a movie! We enjoyed exploring the tiny streets and finding beautiful overlooks at every turn. The condo itself is spacious by European standards and was quite clean. The owner met us there for a quick tutorial when we arrived. His wife was kind enough to send a list of wineries, activities, and markets for us to consider in planning our trip. The only complaint I have is that I didn't want to leave ;)
