As an owner I may always sound biased and truly appreciated when other people use their own words to describe what sometimes not even pictures will do justice. I also want to thank you for the amazing pictures you send me of the awesome sledding you did in my yard You truly maximized the snow Despite the problems snowfalls like that can also cause. It was an absolute pleasure Having you and your family stay and I do look forward to hosting you soon again. It’s always lovely to have guests with such great communication flexibility and understanding when weather does not cooperate

Rachel I was In constant communication with you and have our exchanges which I will not post as they are private. They are ALL positive at NO point in time was I made aware that you were uncomfortable or something was not to your liking. This seems to be in part also a cleaning issue after the house was empty for two weeks and which I will clearly bring up with the local crew who assured me all was good to go. I recall you specifically asked me about central heating for your group of ladies which was your concern (that it would be too cold) and I clarified there is of Course central Heating as well as fireplaces which you were excited about. Then I brought up voluntarily and mentioned that just like many houses in the mountains there is no central AC just like the majority of houses in the mountains because it’s superfluous. I was made fun of when I first bought the house and asked about it as well. Because it’s the mountains and the temperature in the summer is absolutely gorgeous people escape to it. It was explained to me that opening windows to create a draft is instantaneous (there is always wind ) and a wonderful crisp mountain air comes Thru said windows. This I also shared with you.. Nonetheless i decided To install a ceiling fan In The living areas and have additional fans in all rooms etc as you mentioned and many guests have enjoyed no problem. HavIng said that, I’m not trying to fight you here I’m just sad I wasn’t contacted and I promise you something would have come of your feedback then as it is now. Temperature is really the toughest one because it’s perceived so differently by each of us and the weather is definitely creating havoc everywhere not only at my house I just find it very hard to believe you were not able to open windows for mountain draft because of ragweed so tall? This is simply impossible as it implies it would have to make it Thru wood on the entire deck and periphery of the house which on stilts and in the back is about two stories high. And not even abandoned in years it can grow to said height. I have great rapport with my neighbors they would have alarmed as This is a golf community neighborhood. I’m sorry they were fixing the road but also glad they are finally fixing the road especially for winter. All in all I’m just sorry I couldn’t help or guide or send someone or alleviate the situation because I was never made aware even during your stay with the conversations we had. I really wish I could post as proof.

Thank you for taking the time to share with others how wonderful the views and location are. I feel so lucky to have found this gorgeous place amidst the mountains that invites gorgeous animals to visit right outside the house and you can enjoy from up close. By the same token I guess screens in a few windows would be a good idea but sometimes this causes people to leave the house exposed as they leave. I will look into it again. I’m used to creating an instant draft by opening the angled windows of the kitchen (which deters bugs) but not everyone does. The ceiling fan in the main living area is definitely potent but by the sounds of it - I’m afraid the fans in each of the bedrooms may not have been found as I made sure to get some extra ones to furnish each bedroom just as I also have extra area furnaces besides of course central heating (but just in case someone in the party decides to set the temperature and someone else in the other extreme of the house is too cold for Instance. In short I think ideal temperature in a house is probably the biggest complaint an owner gets because everyone perceived it differently. Thx again though and I’ll make sure to talk to staff to make the fans location more obvious or readily accessible. Or perhaps they were put away ?? I hope not ! I’ll start with a huge THANK YOU not only for taking the time but for actually being so wonderfully descriptive and adding so many details of what your vacation was like at my place. To say that I have put in a lot of effort in redoing the place so that my guests can enjoy is an understatement but when I read a review like yours it makes it absolutely worth it all the way and gives me great satisfaction. Wow! Thx for sharing and the lovely title. I do very much love Angel Fire and the house for all the reasons above, the views the wild life, the coziness and then some. Thank you so much Ashley:)!!! Especially with the circumstances of this pandemic: A clean home is now more than ever absolutely imperative. Along those lines I wonder if the soft top cushion covers that typically line all the queens and even the already highly popular King in the master that I get requests to share the brand and make on...) perhaps had theirs removed for another high temperature cleaning during your stay. - they do take longer to dry - As I’ve never had complaints about it but will surely follow up.
