We had a great time. The house was very very clean with everything you need. The sunsets are amazing. I would definitely book again. The only negative we had was there was confusion on the TV, no batteries in the remote, bought some, then choices of paying channels, Netflix, Crave, Prime. On the other side of the coin we did not come to the island to sit and watch TV. We wanted a news channel. A BIG YES, I would definitely book again.

Great house with a great view!

We had a group of girls stay over the weekend and we all loved it! The house was bright and open, comfy beds, the kitchen was fully equipped, we had everything we needed. The view was gorgeous and the hottub was amazing.

PEI Vacation

The house was very comfortable for the 5 of us and a dog. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, 2 types of coffee makers etc. my grown kids enjoyed the hot tub. The views from the backyard were beautiful!

The Perfect Family Gathering

The house was the perfect setting for our family vacation. It had four separate Bedrooms that fit our family's needs perfectly. The beds were comfortable and three of them had en-suite bathrooms, making it very private for most everyone. The layout of the house provided lots of room for everyone to do their own thing, even though we spent most of the time on the back deck enjoying the beautiful sunny weather and breathtaking view of Orwell Cove. Dean was a great host and even visited when we had a problem resetting the internet. He showed up when he said he would, worked with the internet provider, and had the issue resolved in minutes. Thank you, Dean. You know how younger generations are when they lose connection!All week long, everyone commented on how beautiful the house and setting were, and how we must plan a return to the property for future vacations. Keep the internet connected, Dean. We'll be back soon.

All excellent except the mosquitoes in the meadow — let’s do something about that. Otherwise, beautiful location, sunsets that can’t be beat, and a charming island to visit.

There is no question that it’s a beautiful location with beautiful sunsets.However, there are a number of shortcomings. The house is tired and needs repair. Some Light switches inside don’t work and the outlets outside don’t work. The wooden floor was worn out and hadn’t been refinished, probably in decades, and we were wary of getting slivers.Most of the windows had no screens which is a shame because there’s always a beautiful breeze. The air conditioners were very noisy. Holes in the walls were patched, but never painted over. information on the site said that there was a cot. although there was a cot, it didn’t appear that anyone had slept in it for a long time and the sheets were very dirty and soiled. The cot also couldn’t open up fully because of a dresser that was in the way. Since the sheets on the cot were dirty, we asked for new sheets and we were short of pillows. It took them 36 hours to respond!!The sheets were actually in the house behind what we thought was a locked door, which actually wasn’t locked. A simple call or text would have allowed one of my grandchildren to not sleep on the floor without sheets, etc..The table runner from the previous guests had crumbs and a potato chip on it, and the wine glasses had lipstick on it. Now the best – mosquitoes were on you within five seconds and in 30 seconds to a minute you’d get a minimum of five bites. We were able to adapt by using bug spray before you get out of the car! No pool, just abandoned

Wonderful house for a family get-together

We stayed here as a family of 7 adults and 4 children for 1 week and the place was amazing. Lots of room for everybody, a great back yard with pool and hot tub. The kitchen is large and well equipped for cooking up all of the wonderful fresh food available on the island. The location is great in that it's nice and quiet...the downside to that is that it's a bit of a drive to get groceries/supplies, but considering the beauty of that location it's a worthwhile tradeoff. Property management was quick to respond to our inquiries, and provided easy and clear instructions for how to get into the house on arrival and how to leave it at the end.

Great Place for a Family Vacation!

Place was very clean, spacious, and located in a quiet area with lots of privacy. Kitchen, dining and family room were open with lots of storage, dishes and seating for our large extended family. Perfect for cooking big meals, and playing card and board games around the large table. There was lots of sleeping room for 8 adults and a bunch of kids aged 2 to 11 years. Kids took turns hanging out in each of the rooms and the place never felt crowded. Just an hr from the Cavandish area with its beautiful beach, Anne of Green Gables site, a waterpark, etc., Also, around an hr from another beautiful, little less crowded beach in Basin Head. Most of all we enjoyed spending time at the house and in the pool and hot tub. Place was equipped with a washer and dryer which was greatly appreciated, even though they were located close to the living area and the dryer could be a little loud. Would highly recommended this place for a family vacation!!

Perfect Family Getaway

The house was perfect for our two families. We cooked family meals. We swam and relaxed in the hot tub and pool. We played games at the huge dining room table and on the lawn. The house was very quiet and and private, surrounded by ocean and farm land. There was plenty privacy for 4 adults, 4 teenagers and an eight year old. We also had plenty of family time in the large open kitchen, dining, living room area. There was lots of sleeping room and easily could have accommodated more people. We were close to many beaches and restaurants on a beautiful island. Our favorite was Greenwich Beach. We will recommend this place to our friends as a great place for a family vacation.
