The check-in process was easy. You just drive straight to the house. The owner is very responsive to messages. The water wasn’t working when we got there. We called and the problem was resolved quickly. The house is extremely close to Rocky Mountain National Park. Grand Lake is a very nice town too!

Lovely log cabin in the woods minutes from Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. We saw moose in the yard about half the days, with 3 cows and a bull one morning. Hummingbirds and chipmunks galore. Lovely weather to spend on the deck, and surprisingly no bugs in mid July.The cabin is very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. A nice bottle of Pinot Noir from the host was a nice welcome gift. We plan to come back next summer.

This property is very close to the small town of Grand Lake where we had great pizza, wonderful ice cream and the BEST minature golf.The home is very clean and the owner was great in answering a few questions. There was even a bottle of wine waiting for our arrival. Lots of fun games for entire family.The location was quiet.

70th Anniversary Celebration

Our extended family came together to celebrate my parents 70th Anniversary. The house was great, we especially enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen and the fabulous deck (and roasting s'mores!) The house was very clean and met our needs perfectly. Zach was super responsive and easy to work with

Excellent stay!

Beautiful cabin three minutes outside entrance to RMNP. Drove into the park each night just before dark to see countless elk and moose all within 10 minutes of the cabin. All the beds were quite comfy, kids loved the foosball table, near nightly sightings of mule deer and moose off the deck, easy check in and out process. Glad we stayed there.

Perfect Winter Cabin

My family spent Christmas at the cabin and it was magical! The three floors allowed everyone to spread out and relax. It’s located a quick drive to town but still feels remote. Rocky Mountain National Park is just a few minutes away which is wonderful to enjoy the outdoors. The house has everything you need and is a total gem! We had the perfect winter get a way!

Great for the whole family!

This was our second time at this cabin, with our entire family (8 people ages 2-88) and this place is the best! Perfect location if looking to be near Grand lake or RMNP. Great to have 4 bathrooms for so many people. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking large family meals, and the cabin itself is just a wonderful mountain experience! Both visits, we've seen incredible wildlife, right off the front porch - this trip was a herd of elk running through! Highly reccomend this cabin, and we will be back soon!

Fabulous Location and Accommodations

The owner was very accommodating and we were able to park our RV outside so that the whole family could stay together. We appreciated the great kitchen and great room which allowed us to visit and cook at the same time. We highly recommend this VRBO!

Great cabin just outside entrance to RMNP

Nice location - close to the town of Grand Lake and the western entrance to the park. Quiet neighborhood. Inside of cabin was clean and comfortable. I would stay here again

So beautiful!

The house is beautiful and in a great location. A little hidden off the road so I missed the turn in at first but I found it pretty quickly. The balcony has great views with a nice grill and fire pit for our evenings.

Fabulous cabin, perfect host!

This cabin is stocked with everything you could ever need! The owner was so quick and easy to communicate with and always wanted to help in any way he could. He went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we were comfortable. Very close to the lakes and the RMNP. Couldn’t have been better for our extended family of 7 adults! It is in a neighborhood, as opposed to a more private location, but we never heard or saw any neighbors. . . very quiet and peaceful. We saw 4 elk and a mother and baby moose right near our cabin. Highly recommend.this rental property!!

Comfortable roomy log chalet.

Great location very near the Park. 5 minutes to center of town. Wooded lot with lots of birds, chipmunks and saw a cow and calf moose 4 times in the week stay. The house is very comfortable and large enough for 2 families. Kitchen was very well stocked and appliances modern and clean. We have already booked for next year.

Beautiful Cabin in a Great Location

We had a wonderful stay in this cabin. We’ve rented through VRBO numerous times over the years and this was, by far, one of our favorite stays. The cabin was VERY clean and very spacious for our family of 4. We traveled with our two college kids, so we all had plenty of space for just the 4 of us. (More space than we needed.) The cabin is no more than a 5 minute drive to both the lake and RMNP, which was very convenient for our daily hikes. We especially loved seeing moose and elk daily from the porch. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Fine enough house, but lack of normal amenities

Our group of friends and partners stayed for a weekend at the cabin. We were there for 2 nights. We had to purchase our own toilet paper because there was less than 1 roll per bathroom - not nearly enough for the group of 10 that booked. The upstairs pullout couch was also not able to be used, it just had a note saying not to pull it out or use it. The worst part was that we weren't given enough bath towels for the full group of 10, AND you aren't allowed to use the washer/dryer. So we had partners sharing bath towels. Not to mention it's a house near a lake, and there were no beach towels either. The house is also extremely hot and stuffy in the summer, especially if you need to cook or bake anything. 75% of the windows don't have screens, so if you do open any windows or doors you get mosquitoes. There are also barely enough blankets and pillows - 1 per bed, with a very very light blanket as a comforter. Cabin has potential, but basic amenities are lacking.

Awesome cabin!

Zach was super responsive to any questions we had. House was quite comfortable and spacious for our 2 families (3 kiddos). Basement is great bonus space. Neighborhood and location were also great - we will be back !!

Had a great time at this beautiful cabin. Everything you need in the well stocked kitchen. Deer wandering right out front every evening! Hope to visit again.

Grand Lake get away

The house was perfect. Immediate access to Rocky Mountain National Park, the town of Grand Lake, shadow Mountain Lake, and Arapaho National Forest. The property seems to be located in the migration path of both moose and deer. We saw both every day and numerous times. The animals seemed to be used to people and did not scare away but would just do their thing as you walked past them. The house is spacious with a unique design in which all of the main rooms are situated in such a way that you cannot hear your other house mates. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and silverware to cook anything you might need. The grill on the deck is gas and plugs directly into the house gas line. We enjoyed the propane fire pit on the deck and used the wood fire pit one night for snores. It’s a great place for a family meet up. No complaints. We had one issue with the fridge which started making a strange noise and the owner had a repair man out the next day who was friendly and fixed it quick.

Great accommodations

Our group of 6 had a great weekend at the log cabin near Grand Lake. Home was clean, well appointed with all of the necessary facilities to cook and entertain. In fact, because of how well it went, we’ll probably never go camping again. Thank you!
