The host was very kind and generous. She made us Chicken Enchiladas the first night. Location is a bit out of the way, but not too far off of the local highway. It faces some National forest and is quiet and peaceful.

Gunsite school roadtrip with family

From the moment of arrival, we were greeted by THE SWEETEST lady "Gwen"...who literally made sure we had everything we needed for our 7 day/6 night stay...excellent breakfasts. We would HIGHLY recommend this hidden oasis.

Great place to unwind and relax...

Spent Christmas week here and couldn't have asked for more, even had some snow. Beautiful property and house. Gwyn supplied us with five star hospitality. Gibson sure misses the breakfasts...

Gwyn in an incredible host. She is very generous and all her food is homemade and amazing. You will have all the privacy you need in your half of the home, which is next to the living area / kitchen / dining area. Perfect for a family with children or a couple looking to escape the city and enjoy the wide-open spaces in the Chino Valley / Prescott region.

Amazing, feel like home experience.

Gwynn was amazing!! The food was amazing! The area was amazing! We completely enjoyed our stay in your home. Gwynn is so welcoming, warm and generous. Every detail was set and she even planned for more. We slept like rocks on the comfy beds, had room to spread out, and watched movies in the comfy recliners. My kids said, "Are you sure, Gwynn's not family, because it's like we've known her for ever." Thank you for opening up your wonderful home and planning neat things for us to do: taking a walk around the property, having a bomb fire, roasting marshmallows, and just hanging out. We even got to experience new critters for my class bug collection and flash floods. (We wanted to stay and be helpful repairing fence and stuff that Monday, but we had to get home to work on Tuesday) Next time we come up, we will be planning more down time, as we had a few hiking goals (Granite Hills 19 Trails), we met the goals, but it took a lot of our down time. Title: "An Unforgettable Stay with an Exceptional Host!" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently had the pleasure of staying at Gwyn's incredible property, and I can honestly say it was one of the best vacation experiences I've ever had! From the moment we arrived, Gwyn greeted us with warmth and genuine hospitality that made us feel right at home. The house itself was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the cozy linens to the fully stocked kitchen. It truly felt like a home away from home! But what really made our stay special was Gwyn's attentiveness as a host. She was always available to answer questions and provided fantastic local recommendations that enhanced our trip. Whether it was suggesting the best restaurants or sharing insights about nearby attractions, her knowledge and enthusiasm made exploring the area a joy. Best in the West

This was our second time back- the first was so good we wanted a repeat. The home owner, Gwyn is a wonderful woman with a lifetime of unbelievable experiences. She’s a true gem in hospitality, history, and culture. We use her ranch as a home base to explore the Grand Canyon, Williams, Flagstaff, the top of the mountains, the Deer Farm, the new Williams roller coaster, the train ride at Railway, Sedona, Oak Creek, Cottonwoods, Jerome, and everything in between. Gwyn has a central location where nothing is more than about two hours in any direction. The home is lovely with great beds, sheets, TV room with recliners, a five acre property to wander, and a kitchen the size of Texas.

Great weekend

Shooting at Gunsite, this property is about 5 miles away. It is comfortable, quiet, and well stocked. Has a wonderful huge kitchen stove which we all enjoyed. Beds are comfortable. We will probably return. It was perfect for what we were looking for.

Peaceful quiet home away from home.

This was a peaceful quiet comfortable place for our family to rest after busy days during our Spring break. Gwyn immediately made us feel at home, and it felt like we were staying with our own grandma. We enjoyed the solitude out here. I sat on the porch in the morning at listened to the birds, and the quiet. The kids enjoyed exploring the 5 acre property and playing hide and go seek. I'm not really a VRBO guy. When my wife initially told me we were going to be staying in Paulden at someone else's house, I was skeptical, but I'm not now. I loved it here and would come back.

Delightful

Clean, quiet property with awesome western decor; perfect for this location out West. Gywn is a gem. She even brought Thanksgiving dinner for my husband and me since we had been on the road that Thursday. She is also a wealth of knowledge about the area. Plus, we were able to bring our dog. Really enjoyed our stay.

Gwyn is the best host

The property was very comfortable and spacious, the views were awesome. Gwyn greeted us with a warm homemade dinner and sent us off with one as well. Her space gave us all the comforts of home. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Lovely Host, Full Bellies, Centrally Located

Gwyn was gracious and helpful. She kept us very well fed and helped direct us to the areas of the state we wanted to visit (Grand Canyon and Sedona). The yard was huge and fit for our dog to run and explore. The morning silence was relaxing, and all you could hear were birds and the nearby horse. The kitchen was amazing, the tv was large, and the reclining chairs comfy. The beds were comfortable as well. We were very thankful to come across Gwyn’s listing!

Loved the property and enjoyed talking with owner. Her breakfast was top notch. Enjoyed the peace and quiet and the isolation that this property provides. We were able to sit out on the porch and star gaze, fired up fire pit and toasted marshmallows and made smores. The next door neighbor had a miniature horse and donkey. Our dog was fascinated by them.

Amazing experience

All I can say is wow...Gwyn went above and beyond what we expected. She made dinner and breakfast twice and all the food was amazing. Always available when we needed her. We will definitely come back and recommend her place to everybody.

Great experience. Best host ever.

Nicest hostess in the world. The owner went so far beyond our expectations. The house is beautiful. The owner was so accommodating. We chose this place because it is halfway between Sedona and the Grand Canyon.
