Great cottage for a family vaca

I was pleasantly surprised with all aspects, especially since this was My first experience with a vrbo! Wayne, the owner was great at communication and addressing any concerns. The cottage had a very nice floor plan and the pool was wonderful and definitely a major benefit!! The planned renovations will also be a plus for future rentals! Overall, a great experience and I highly recommend this property!

A grand slam!

This home was a grand slam! A great location, a great house and a great owner! Everything was wonderful! The newly renovated home was perfect, done tastefully and very comfortable. There was no detail missed. The beach and pool were heavenly! The owner was so kind and responsive. Our family will be back. My only suggestion would be a new couch and loveseat and dining room chairs would make the reno complete.

Great location and nicely remodeled home

The newly remodeled home was very clean and had all the necessary amenities. The owner was very helpful and responsive with questions about the house and OIB area. Walkable to ice cream, mini golf, pier, and breakfast spots. Beach was big and clean and pool was secluded and got the afternoon sun. We thoroughly enjoyed our spring break.

Fall visit with friends.

We love Ocean Isle Beach in the Fall and OIB Chillin’2 Made it even better. Home was perfect for our annual Mothers and daughters trip and we will return next year. Thanks again.

Great weekend getaway

Weekend getaway with family. House was clean and in a great location close to everything and supplied everything we needed. We loved the large pool and easy access to the beach. Owner always quick to answer any questions we had. Highly recommend OIB CHILLIN’ 2 and we will be returning.

Ideal set-up

I wish I’d found this place earlier. It’s perfect. Pool, house, beach, pier, shops... everything right there. Perfect for families, especially when you have several children in different age groups. The older ones can walk to ice cream or games, even the pier. You can keep watch of the younger ones at the downstairs pool, which is also nicely sheltered from the wind when the gusts are just too much to deal with. All the TVs are Roku smart TVs so when it’s time to relax inside you’ll have no problem finding your favorite thing to watch. The internet is good and covers the entire home area. This is definitely the way to do the beach.

We really liked the layout of the house. Very clean and well maintained. Spacious living room and dining area perfect for family get togethers. Close to the pier and beachfront views were impressive!

Perfect for my daughters destination wedding.

This was the perfect place for my daughter's destination wedding. We rented both sides and had plenty of room for the small amount of guest. The rental was clean, well kept and beautiful. The beach view was beautiful and very quite. It made for the perfect place for a small informal beach wedding. All the guest loved it and would even like to come back and stay here again. Thanks for allowing us to host the wedding at your beautiful beach house.

We enjoyed your house it was all the room we needed, enjoyed the washer and dryer being upstairs in the house, fell in love with the new rocking chairs on the front deck. One thing I would suggest would being ceiling fans in the bed rooms it would be nice during the night.

Great house for a family beach week

First time we have had family beach week in a house on the ocean front and it was worth it! The owner provided great information and called on our way there to welcome us and provide his contact info for any issues. Everything was ready, clean and the kitchen had every possible thing needed to managed lots of meals. Lots of bedrooms and TVs in every room made it possible to provide entertainment to various age groups. Had rain parts of most days, so finding things for small persons to do was challenging. So excited that a pool is going in for next year since neighbors to right and left were making happy pool sounds every afternoon. The house was great and we enjoyed our stay.

This home is very invited and homey!

Loved staying here at OIB chilling! We had 12 adults and 9 kids. Bathrooms were a little small, and no where really to store food. There was one cabinet available, but with 22 people eating for the week, it wasn't enough. However, I do have to say that those things were definitely the worst. This is a fantastic house with great beach access! Loved the ocean views! Would definitely stay again!

Awesome Family Vacation Home!

20 members of my family and I spent 7 days at Ocean Isle Beach at a beach front Homeaway rental the 2nd week in June. It was amazing! The home had plenty of room for all of us to sleep and to socialize. We had family from 2 years to 73 years of age, and our only complaint was that it was not hadicap accesable. The home was clean, and the beach was beautiful. And the landlord, Wayne, was easy to work with. My whole family had a great time. We will defiantly go back!

Perfect for our big family!

We loved our stay here!! The location was perfect and the home was perfect for our group of 22! My only suggestion is to add some bigger pots and pans for cooking for bigger groups, but we made it work with what was available. The owner was always available for any questions we had and I definitely recommend this home for your beach vacation!

We are Wayne and Angie Michelli and we have 2 Daughters Ashley and Jenna.
We live in Kingsport Tennessee and have owned a Full Service Seafood Restaurant since 1991. We love to travel and fell in love with OIB in 2008.
I am also a pilot so OIB made perfect sense for our family having the airport located so close to the island to travel back and forth. Angie as a child vacationed in South Myrtle Beach and wanted something close by for day trips to Myrtle Beach. Come find out as many have that OIB gives you an uncrowded beach in a very family friendly location.

We purchased OIB Chillin a 8 bedroom 8 bath Oceanfront home (VRBO#303854) located at 156 East First in the Fall of 2008. We loved Ocean Isle Beach so much we decided to purchase 60 East First in 2018 which will now be know as OIB CHILLIN" 2. We will now have the flexibility to visit OIB during the Summer Season. We have great plans for this home. Current plans include Pool being installed in Fall of 2018 for the 2019 season. Upgrading first floor living and kitchen areas to create a mid-range priced wedding venue to sleep 40 people and have a brides and grooms side of the house so everyone can be together in one location.
