The property is absolutely stunning. They have a small cottage and about 3 additional guest rooms. We rented the cottage, but I imagine that even when the guest rooms are full, there is still plenty of room to social distance since the property is pretty big. They have really old trees, lots of green space, beautiful, abrupt stone steps to the beach with benches on the side and a beautiful view from the beach.
The beach is absolutely wonderful. All the adjacent properties have private beaches and you can walk on the beach for miles. I imagine that even in summer, it will not be too crowded.
We stayed a week-end in March and it was cold and rained one day, but the house was very pleasant and warm and they have a fireplace, which is not featured in the pictures. It was very cozy inside and warm and so we had a great time even when it rained. The cottage has a lot of light and big windows that open, which would be a plus in the summer. The air conditioning seems to be window units, but I cannot comment on it since we did not use it. The furniture and things inside the house were older, but we absolutely felt at home. It was super super clean, so I had no concerns regarding COVID-19, even though I brought my own cleaning stuff. They provided soap, and toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, a few garbage bags, and salt and pepper.
Bring your own towels, There are no towels of any kind in the house.
Another thing to note is that the bed on top of the stairs has a pullout bed underneath it (again, not shown in the picture), so it sleeps 2. There is a futon downstairs that can be used as a bed, but you would have to request extra sheets and blankets in advance or bring your own.
Overall, we loved the cottage vibe and we would come back. I highly recommend this for a small family that prefers a laid back style rather than a luxurious one.
