Our stay at The Pippins was brilliant. So much so that we decided to stay an extra 2 nights, which Kay and Eric readily accommodated at very short notice even though it required a move to one of their other lovely cottages as The Pippins was already booked. The cottage itself is spacious and comfortable with stunning views, especially at sunset. Kay and Eric were warm, friendly hosts and a great source of local knowledge. There were so many scenic walks and tea room gardens nearby that it didn't matter in the slightest that lockdown was still partially ongoing. We will definitely be returning to this lovely cottage in beautiful Somerset again.

Friendly and helpful owners (and thanks to their daughter too for helping with a Wi-Fi issue - was sorted in no time). The cottage sits in peaceful grounds and has a superb view out to sea. The cottage was a really good size with the mod cons you need away from home. Loved the walk in shower and the large wardrobe in bedroom very handy. Would recommend a trip to Dunster Castle which is very close and Watchet a lovely little place to while away a few hours.

The Pippins is situated on the edge of the village of Old Cleeve, which is a charming little village.

The charming medieval village of Dunster, just off the A39. Dunster is well worth a visit for sight-seeing as well as shopping and has many restaurants, tea rooms and pubs serving food.

Minehead is the main town West Somerset and is approximately 6 miles from The Pippins. Here you will find the larger supermarkets and petrol stations (Tesco and Morrisons and Lidi are situated on the outskirts of the town and have long opening hours), plus a range of other shops throughout the town.
