We loved the spacious cabin that was clean, well layed and had all the amenities we needed. We were there in mid October so no swimming but absolutely the dock for afternoon cocktails ans sunsets. Centrally located for the bike trails we used. Before we left we booked the cabin again for next year!!

My family loved the cabin and the lake! Highly recommend including the pontoon in your stay during the non-winter months. Great location and check-in was easy. The cabin was cozy and had all the amenities one could ask for. Had a great time bbq'ing and hanging out around the campfire at night.Would highly recommend!

It was almost perfect. The property was fantastic. The only suggestions would be a safety strip at deck level change and an upgrade of mattresses.

The weather could not have been much worse for us BUT in spite of that, we had a really great trip and definitely plan to come back! That says a lot about how nice the cabin is and how truly terrific the property owner is.My husband and I did a short 4 night stay, and we were joined by our son, DIL, and 2 grandkids (ages 4 and 2) for a day and a half. For all the booking and planning steps, property owner Jessica was outstanding to work with. Her replies were always prompt, informative, and friendly. When we had an issue with the pontoon, she was incredibly responsive and quickly worked to resolve the problem and make things right. Superlative customer service!!!The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The video walk-through is helpful and accurate! The bedrooms were extremely spacious and comfy (not typical of most cabins we've stayed in), and the design of the main floor felt spacious and very comfortable. The cabin is really well designed for our crew and turned out to be a great venue for several rounds of hide-and-seek and musical chairs. :-) As noted, we did rent the pontoon. Despite the awful weather (cold, rainy, high winds), the pontoon was a GREAT first boating experience for the littles. We agreed it is a must for our next visit.We did not get to use the decks or fire pit but can imagine it will be amazing when the weather is nice. We were VERY grateful for the washer and especially the dryer. Saved the day!Thank you, Jessica!!

Perfect place! Loved watching the otters out swimming every day, great swimming & fishing for kids! Couldn’t even keep up with all the fish they were catching, house is beautiful! Communication with host was quick & easy! Only downfall was property was very close to highway so you could hear traffic but honestly didn’t mind but my parents didn’t enjoy that part! Pontoon was great too! 10/10 would recommend & would go back! Amazing “northern memories” were made!

Weekend at Northern Memories

I had my bachelor's party here last weekend. The cabin was very spacious and easily fit all six of us. The entire property was very clean and beautiful all around. Jessica was a great host and responded to any and all of our questions in a timely manner.

Relaxing and close to bike trail

Very comfortable stay with many amenities to enjoy. Available pontoon boat to rent was a plus. Close location to Heart of Vilas bike trailhead. Wonderful communication with host, very accomendating.

Great Stay!

This lakehouse was perfectly located for a short weekend to enjoy Minocqua. Beautiful lake views, wood available for the firepit, and surrounded by plenty of great supper clubs. Had a great time, would recommend!

Found a keeper

My friends & I take a ice fishing trip each year somewhere in Northern Wisconsin. Glad I found this gem right on a lake. We put alot of time on the ice came up Thursday left Sunday. Cabin had plenty of room for the 6 of us. It was very nice to just walk out onto the lake and catch fish right away. Close enough that the guys could yell you have a flag when i was to busy catching fish in my shack. We will be returning next year for sure

Ice fishing trip

We so enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We came to do some ice fishing and the hosts went above and beyond to provide some good tips and tricks. The cabin was clean, spacious and well maintained. The pellet stove warmed us up quickly after a long day on the ice. We had everything we needed and more. Great location, wonderful home and hosts were so kind and responsive. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and we would 10/10 recommend!

Family Thanksgiving Getaway

Our family had a nice relaxing time and enjoyed the beautiful cabin! The views of the lake from not only the deck but from inside the cabin were breathtaking. We had a great Thanksgiving holiday! Jessica was great, always fast to answer any questions I had. We would definitely rent again.
