Great location

We enjoyed the location for our visit to the Orange Beach area. The condo was very roomy and had a beautiful view.

Not for smokers

The unit itself was nicely decorated and close to the elevators. The only two issues I had was the fact you couldn't smoke ANYWHERE on Phoenix II and had to go to the Northeast building of Phoenix I for the designated smoking area. I wish this would have been fully mentioned as that would have been a deal breaker. You read in the description no smoking, which usually means not inside the units. However you can still smoke on the balconies or by the pool. That wasn't the case for this property. This includes e-ciggs as well. If you do, you pay a fee. The second complaint is the cleaning fees. I considered theirs fees a little high, considering you have to wash, dry, put up the dishes, and take out the garbage. The condo was 2 bedrooms and rather compact. I However, this was not a deterrent.

So dissappointing

When we arrived the furnishings were not exactly as pictured, no big deal. This unit desperately needs some TLC. You could tell that the unit had not been updated in quite some time. The furnishings, floors, etc. all showed signs of wear and tear beyond what is acceptable. The floors were dirty enough that my baby's legs became black from being in the floor for roughly 10 minutes. The biggest issue was the fact that they were working in the condo above us and it was extremely noisy. So noisy that you couldn't talk with each other and the baby was terrified. There was no mention of any construction on the VRBO listing or Brett/Robinson's page. We had to find another place to stay in a completly different building/area. Brett/Robinson did refund me some but not all of my money. You were unable to reach the owners directly, everytime I tried to message them directly it automatically went through Brett/Robinson. i will never never ever rent a condo through Brett/Robinson again. Lesson learned.

Nice get away

We enjoyed our recent trip to Orange Beach and our stay in the Phoenix! It was clean and convenient. The check in and out process was easy. Great for a long weekend at the beach with friends and kids.

Great get away

The condo was exactly as pictured. The building was at capacity when we were there and yet we never struggled to get elevators or carts. I gave cleanliness a 4 star only because, when we arrived the unit smelled like smoke so the previous tenants must have broken the rules but that dissipated as time went by, the filter on AC unit desperately needed changing so I’m sure that added to the musty smell, and the sheets for the pull out were still quite damp when we pulled them out of the bag the cleaning crew leaves them in. These were small things that made our first night a little rocky but after that we very much enjoyed our time!
