Awesome place to stay!

We loved staying there! Awesome location & duplex! Only issue was parking is tight. So close to the beach. Great communication with the owner! We had a wonderful trip!

Perfect for my family

My family of 10 takes a yearly vacation to different locations/beaches Charlie’s house was excellent. Every amenity we needed was right there—-even for the beach! The house was clean and the beds comfortable. I highly recommend this location and this beach. It’s a great beach town!!!

Relaxing Home

Home was in a great location, short 2 min walk to Kure pier. The home was equipped with everything needed and especially beach accessories of chairs, umbrellas, wagon, cooler, boogie boards and more. The home was clean and communication with the owner was top notch. Absolutely no problems or concerns while we were there. We were a family of 10 and had plenty of room and more for everyone. Just a short walk to the beach. Highly recommend and will be staying again!

Perfect Destination for a Family Reunion!!

This beach house gem was just what our family of 16 needed for a reunion to celebrate our parents 50th wedding anniversary! The accommodations were spot on, from the rooms, living space, and amenities, along with the distance to the beach, which was a simple and easy walk. Restaurants and shopping spots right by the pier and Carolina Beach options gave an added touch to enjoying the local area.Charlie was an excellent host and provided thorough details about checking in and out and what to expect with our stay. His support was appreciated and he was easy to reach out to and provided a rapid response.Thank you for a perfect extended weekend getaway to the NC coast!!

Wonderful location for multi-generational family beach week

Great location and plenty of space for our large family ranging in age from 10 months to 85 years old. Short walk to the beach and pier. Lovely home and fantastic owner who communicated so well with me!

Great stay!

Very nice! Walking distance to everything, plenty of beach supplies and there is a beer fridge in garage so no need to bring large coolers or beach gear. Master bedroom and bath very nice!

Perfect Location

We enjoyed our time at Charlie's place! It is very close to the beach, which made the back and forth with kids very easy. The townhouse is very big, and comes equipped with pretty much anything you need for the beach, so leave the chairs and boogie boards at home! We had some issues with the cleanliness upon arrival, but Charlie was very accomodating and responded right away. It was our family's 2nd time in Kure and we would likely stay hwre agin when we come back.

Overall cleanliness was great and everything was as described. Our family had a great time and with the large number we were able to cook everything st the house instead of going out to eat. The house had everything you need for the kitchen to cook. Thank you!!

Great place

Wonderful home with plenty of extras. It’s convenient to the beach with a view of the ocean. Kitchen is well stocked and beach chairs and toys available. Elevator is nice for bringing up luggage and groceries. The host is prompt to answer all concerns. Definitely recommend it and will come back.

Kure Beach Gem!

A definite 10 out of 10! From the booking to the last minute of our stay, it was amazing! The host is wonderful and must be the nicest person ever. He responds within the hour (even less) of your inquiry. The house is super clean. The private elevator is an added bonus and my mother who uses a walker was very pleased. She was also grateful for the walk in shower. The view on the balcony is spectacular. The owners of this property truly thought of the people who will be staying here. Like we are their family. Very stressed free stay and we will definitely come back, hopefully make it a tradition! Thank you from my entire family!

Amazing place for an amazing beach vacation!

This place was great. Check-in/out was SUPER EASY. Comms with the host were quick and helpful. The house was plenty big with all the amenities needed, including beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, sand toys, etc! Literally everything you could need is provided. It doesn’t get any easier. The location is a very short walk to the beach. It is also very close to the pier for fishing and ice cream and wonderful sunrise/sunset walks. The house was clean and there are plenty of dishes and pots and pans for cooking and eating. Dont hesitate to book. Charlie, your host, was amazing as well. Very attentive and quick to address ANYTHING that might make your trip more enjoyable or convenient. Great stay!

Family vacation

We loved our stay. The layout of the house allowed for us to spend time together but also have separate time to relax. This house is perfectly stocked, right down to Tupperware, which I was so happy about, I usually bring my own and two refrigerators !! Everything you could need for the beach , it's there, chairs, sand toys, etc. I had a question about parking at 1:30AM. I message the host, expecting an answer in the morning, no she responded immediately, at 1:30 AM. She said she available 24/7 and she means it! Our family had a great time! Thank you 😊

Great house, great host

Charlie was great to work with. Very responsive to any questions from the moment I booked the house to after check out. We had a clogged sink in one of the bathrooms and he had a plumber ready to come the same day. The house is a duplex which we weren't aware of, but it wasn't a problem. The house was perfect for our group of 13. Everyone had space to get away from each other when needed. The dining room table was prefect for family game nights. The beds were comfortable. The elevator was an excellent bonus. The fully stocked garage with beach chairs, boogie boards, and a wagon was a nice addition.

Amazing House in Kure Beach

From booking to check out Charlie was amazing. We took a weekend trip with the family for some fishing. We filled the max limit for people in the house and had plenty of room. The house was clean upon check in and up to date. It was less than 5 min walk to beach / pier even with kids. We had a blast. Thanks to Charlie for the help on returning a wallet that was left in a drawer and not noticed till we were home 5 hours later. He didn’t hesitate to take care of the problem and send it UPS to my mom. If you want a wonderful place to stay and have a large family Charlie’s house is the the place to go.

“Nothing Could be Finer…”

Three generations: Nine adults and five grandchildren…comfort for everyone.Everything was perfect plus a film was being shot at the Kure Beach adding yet another element. So much room for all. What a wonderful reunion! Thank you Charlie Jones!

Great Stay!

We had a wonderful family mini vacation staying all together in this house. There was plenty of room for the 13 of us. Lots of kitchen appliances, dishes and cookware. The host was extremely responsive and accommodating on a couple of special requests. Would absolutely book again!!

Awesome townhouse for a big family gathering!

We had my sister in law’s 50th birthday get together at this house. It was a great parade for all to hang out and have plenty of space to spread out. Which was good for the many teenagers around. The house is very clean and I had great communication with the owner. He was very easy to deal with and always quick to respond to any questions I had about the property during planning. The location was awesome. It’s a really lovely beach with a cool boardwalk and the road that separates the house from the beach was pretty quiet but fun to people watch from the front porch area. Overall, we really had a great time at the property and would recommend highly.

I was 10 years old the first time I visited Kure Beach with my father during a 5th grade field trip, and to this day that trip is still one of my best childhood memories. When I moved to Wilmington in 1998 to attend college at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Kure Beach was my first outing with my new roommates. It is my all time favorite beach, and in my opinion it's 2nd to none. The natural beauty of the live oak trees at Fort Fisher is unsurpassed, and the rich cultural history surrounding this area is fascinating. I feel blessed beyond measure to have this gorgeous home, and I hope to share it with individuals who will grow to love and cherish these gorgeous surroundings as much as I do.

THE SANDPIPER is a perfect vacation spot for numerous reasons:
1) BETTER THAN NEW & CLEAN AS A WHISTLE!!!
- Built in 2008, SANDPIPER was a one-owner home used mainly as a primary residence until we purchased it in October 2017. It was fully renovated, painted, and furnished in 2018. You won't find a cleaner or a more comfortable home!
2) LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!!
-The location of THE SANDPIPER can't be beat!!! 800 feet to Downtown Kure Beach, the Kure Beach Fishing Pier, Ocean Front Park, the best restaurants & nightlife on the Island; and directly between TWO beach accesses!!! You get the ocean views & beach access for a fraction of the price of ocean front; and you can literally park your car and walk everywhere.

The ability to comfortably sleep up to 18 guests comes in handy for large parties, weddings, family reunions, etc.

The tri-level bunk beds are a child's dream come true!!! I had never seen one before, and my 5 year old daughter absolutely loves them!!!

Most of the other rental properties I've seen do not have TV's in all the bedrooms, and the ones that do usually have older model tiny 32's. SANDPIPER has a brand new flat screen ROKU/SMART TV in EVERY bedroom. The smallest TV in the entire house is a 43" in the kids bunkroom. Two of the other guest bedrooms have 49's, two have 50's, and there is a 55" in the master. The living room has a 65". We have the Spectrum TV Gold Package, so you literally have every channel available including all the premium movie channels.
