Great place with awesome beach and downtown access

It really is steps from the beach, and the kitchen and living room were phenomenal. We had a 7 person group but it would be comfortable for a larger group as well.

Fantastic House & Location

Everything we needed was there and then some! Plenty of seating for everyone to comfortable in the living room and at dinner! We could have asked for a better place to stay!

Can’t beat the location!

Great location close to the beach and a short walk to the boardwalk. The space is great for a large group, plenty of room for everyone in the common area and very nice sized bedrooms. Some furniture could use an update, and I would recommend cleaning the rugs or getting rid of them. All in all a great place to stay, great views of the ocean!

Short title

In town for the wedding of our son. Property conveniently located close to beach as well as close to both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding venues. Accommodated the 16 of us very well. Great time at a very nice property.

Terrible Marketing

Property was not as advertised in many ways. The Location, the House, the Ammenities, the Check in time, no grill, etc. Also had many issues upon arrival, clogged toilet, clogged shower drain, shower head with no water coming out, live cochroaches in 2 floor bedroom, mold on the ceiling, air conditioner issues.

The only issue we had was I called about a ceiling fan being wobbly in one of the master bedrooms and when I was called back about it they said they would not be out to look at it until the following week

Great spot

We enjoyed our stay. It was a great location. We were very disappointed to find out the pool had dates and wasn’t open when we were there. This was never communicated to us and we were fully expecting to have a pool to use. Once you enter the unit, it was clean. Couldn’t ask for easier beach access without being beachfront. No perfect views and lots of balconies to enjoy it from.

Not worth the money

The elevator was nice. The location was perfect. Check in and out were very easy. The layout of the house was great for our family. This property is really run down. *All the light bulbs at the parking garage were out - we asked for replacements and they replace 1 of the 5. *One of the master bedrooms had water leaking in from the rain so much that the floor was wet. *A couple of lamps were burnt out or broken - like the bulbs had been smashed and not replaced. *The kitchen had this god awlful smell if you opened the door under the sink. We had to open the patio doors a couple of times to air it out - learned real quick not to open that sink door! *The master bath toliet broke and we were told to just use a different restroom............for the money we paid they should have come to fix. *The pool was closed at random times which was annoying when you load everything up and get to the pool and find out it was closed - for no reason. *The fan in the master bedroom rattled so much I had to take the chains off so they would stop making so much noise. *There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom upstairs. I could keep going but you get the point. If you are willing to pay top dollar for a run down house then this is the one for you!

Endless Issues

If location is key - then this is the place for you. The bedroom floor layout is excellent, appliances also. Elevator super helpful, kitchen countertop and bar seating is perfect. Extra-large dining table is perfect for dinner & games. And that’s exactly where it stops. Pool across the way was fabulous, but not without a guests… ants and a RAT! 3rd floor shared bathroom - the entire A/C register is filled with condensation - this is not an exaggeration, add black mold all around it, and spreading along the crease of the ceiling. 2nd floor master does not have the glass shower door! It’s lazily leaning upon a wall in the master closet. Queen size quilt for king size bed. Improper bed repair resulting in obnoxiously squeaky bed. All linens did not fit the beds! All furniture needs attention. Oversized dresser too close to the bed (leaving narrow access to the bathroom,) tiny night stand, dirty wicker chairs near the balcony doors. Balcony furniture crudely repaired leaving screws exposed and rusted (and hazardous.) One single towel rack (18”) for a master bathroom. One. No over door hooks for bathroom towels, no hooks for beach towels, no hooks. With a “don’t hang on balcony” policy, one would expect hooks in bathrooms, closets, laundry rooms… a n y w h e r e. But no. Kitchen 1.) Odor - DO NOT OPEN the cabinet under the sink! At all. 2.) Pots and pans aren’t in good enough condition to donate. Standard items (mixing bowls, storage containers) not provided, FIVE coffee makers (not a single one without problems or a Keurig.) Completely disorganized kitchen, flatware, glasses, utensils, dishes… all of it. All bedrooms, pillows were awful. Mattresses in poor condition. Furniture drawers difficult to open, loose hardware, overall poor condition. Closets were disorganized - flat old pillows, random artwork, extra linens in disarray along the top shelving. All bathrooms & kitchen, faucet temperature control backwards. Bathmats stained, dirty and not matching. At least one light was out, or visually obvious incorrect bulb. Living room furniture was dirty in poor condition. Sectional could not even be aligned properly, leaving gaps between seats. Pillows were misshapen. Chairs were dirty (yet comfy.) Filthy carpet to gain access to unit. All investment in this property is in the countertop and appliances. Everything else reminded me of a bachelor pad or someone that was taking donations to get their home furnished.

Thanksgiving Paradise

Enjoyed this beachfront property so much for a holiday gathering. Close to all Carolina Beach has to offer, awesome gathering space and kitchen. Bedrooms were well appointed with awesome views from every corner. Such a lovely holiday!

Very disappointed overall for the money! Location was great, but will never go through VRBO again due to the extra fees! Air filters were very dirty, drains did not work in vanities & showers, washing machine did not work, could not get A/C under 75 degrees! I could go on & on, but that will not get our money back, again very disappointed!!!

Huge home needs improvements

This was a beautiful home in a great location with a lovely view. The home is huge and everyone in our party had their own space. Owner should replace some of the worn furnishings, especially paint chipped side tables, dirty area rugs and worn sofas. Kitchen is gorgeous but pots and pans should also be replaced and cabinets need to be organized. It would’ve been nice to have a grill and a working elevator. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Great location, wonderful house

My family and our close friends with their children all stayed at this property. We loved the amount of space for everyone and the gathering areas were open and welcoming. The proximity to the beach and the view of the ocean from your balcony can’t be beat.

Great stay!

Spacious living space with nice decks in both levels. The elevator was helpful for lugging or luggage up and for guests with mobility issues. Just across the street from the beach with a great view of the ocean. One thing that could improve is more how did hanging towels and such in the bathrooms.

Perfect house for a large family!

So much room, kitchen was beautiful and fully stocked, beds were comfortable and so close to the pool and very short walk to the beach! Also short walk to restaurants, ice trailer, boardwalk and shopping in general. 8 min car ride to the grocery store was awesome! Parking for all 6 cars. Our giant family has been going to the beach for years and everyone loved this house! The only thing missing is a ceiling fan on the top deck. Thank you so much to the owners for sharing such an ideal property!

Best House On Carolina Beach

We began looking at beach house rentals that would sleep 12-14 people and we came across this property which checked all the boxes to accommodate our family and friends. The elevator was a big sell as two of our family members are older and have trouble climbing flights of stairs so this was a must in order for them to be able to get up and down to the house floors (also was great to send coolers, groceries, and beverages up without having to carry them up several flights of stairs). The rooms were laid out well with plenty of space and it was nice to have a couple rooms with bunk beds so our little kiddos could sleep with their parents in the same room. The kitchen was very spacious and great for entertaining and has plenty of space to cook and layout food for the masses. The view from the two different balconies looking towards the ocean were great to use for morning coffee or evening cocktails. My only suggestion there would be to add a ceiling fan to the 3rd floor balcony off the kitchen area as the sun gets quite warm since this deck faces East so a fan would be nice to be able to enjoy the mornings out there for a little longer without getting cooked. Having swimming pool access in the back of the property across the street was nice too for a refreshing break from the salty ocean and sandy beaches. Overall a great place to stay for those looking for a big place which sleeps under 18 people (a couple couch pullout beds were available if needed), it is within a 15 minute walk to the Boardwalk area, and very close to all the great places to eat. We will be back and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at this property! Thanks for the hospitality and we look forward to returning to Carolina Beach again soon!
