We loved the cabin! It was very clean and there was good communication between the owner and I. The GPS took us a little further down the road but she quickly dropped a pin for us and we were able to locate it quickly. We would stay here again! Great hospitality!

This was an EXCELLENT getaway! The cabin was quaint, comfortable, and had all the amenities we could ever need. We had planned on getting our to explore the area, but we ended up staying at the cabin the whole weekend. We sipped coffee on the back porch, read in the hammock, and enjoyed the company of Miss Priss, the local cat. If you’re looking to disconnect, this is the perfect place. I highly recommend!

My husband & I had a wonderful get away trip at this lively secluded cabin. The view is breathtaking. I thought the lack of TV & WiFi would be a negative, but after our stay, we decided that this was one of the best parts of the trip. We are already planning another, & are hoping that we can stay in one of Trent Brown's properties. He helped make our trip wonderful!G. O. & R. N. Location was epic. Literally on a hill steep enough to call a cliff over a beautifully clear creek/small river. Mountains on the horizon, wooded hills, tucked way back up a fun back road, only one building within sight when the leaves are out at least (and that off in the distance). The house itself was quite cosy and felt luxurious.I would summarize with the word "awesome" for anyone wanting something really nice and also secluded in a neat area.I would highly recommend and will probably be back.

Beautiful, spotlessly-clean comfort, away from it all. Seamless check in and check out procedures. All the necessities.Highlights: the spectacular view from the wall of windows, overlooking the creek valley and rolling hills. Sitting in the hot tub enjoying the serenade of the cicadas in the evening. Befriending the cabin cat Miss Priss. A hike down to the nearby creek, four-tenths of a mile down a well-maintained trail. A relaxing shower at the end of the day.Tips for the next traveler. READ the information provided in the welcome folder in the cabin; it is very helpful. Bring your favorite books, DVDs, games, etc. because while the host has provided some already, you may have different tastes. There is no wi-fi, so you can disconnect from the world and reconnect with your loved one. We did have enough signal on our cell phones to make calls but had to stand near the window to get a good connection. If you hike to the creek, consider going EARLY in the morning in the summertime to avoid the Oklahoma heat. It only took me about 15 minutes each way, at a fairly leisurely pace, and it was very manageable even for an out-of-shape hiker like me. Mena is an easy day trip, as is Hochatown, if you're looking to explore nearby.Highly recommend. Would love to go back again, maybe when it's a little cooler!!
