The Overlook @ Kingwood Country Club & Resort in CLAYTON, GA. This brand new 2 story home has 2 bedrooms & 2.5 baths. Resort amenities include GOLF, SPA, POOL, TENNIS, PICKLE BALL, RESTAURANT, BAR & WINERY. Hike the close by APPALACIAN TRAIL, BARTRAM TRAIL & TALLULAH GORGE. Less than 10 minutes from boutique shopping, farm to table dining & local art galleries on Main Street in historic downtown Clayton. *Golf & Spa additional fees. PET FRIENDLY with approval.

New to the 2023 VRBO rental market. First floor includes living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry closet & half bath. Second floor includes queen bedroom with TV & private bathroom and bunk bed/single bed bedroom also with private bathroom & TV. Guests have access to the entire house and all of the resort amenities! This home is in a mountain community that has a double-wide paved road throughout. There are stairs from the parking area to the front door. 2 parking spaces are available directly in front of the house.

Lori was very responsive. The cottage was super cute and cozy. Very quiet neighborhood. Loved the decor....being there for Thanksgiving and cooking...the kitchen was roomy, well equipped with plenty of counter space. It was great having our mini goldendoodle dog with us. Nice walking neighborhood for him. Just be prepared for the tight road up the mountain with no gaurd rails. Go slow and all will be fine. Very greatful for the strong internet in house as the Clayton area had zero cell phone reception for our att cell phones. Will absolutely go back!

Peaceful Mountain Retreat

We had a fantastic visit to the Clayton Area. The rental home is clean and beautifully decorated. Lori was quick to answer our questions. The home is located a just a few minutes from town. We enjoyed hiking and outdoor activities nearby. The home has board games, which my family enjoyed playing in the evenings. If we return to the Clayton area, we would rent this home again.

Delightful Break

This home is maintained and presented beautifully. It is obvious that the owners take great pride in their home, and it is equipped with everything you could need for a break away. The owners treat their guests with respect and are available if needed via text / call. We had no issues but did send updates about our arrival and departure and they responded within minutes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the perfect relaxing break we needed from the Florida July heat We were able to use the facilities of the Kingwood Resort (the driveway is opposite the driveway of the Overlook community) and took advantage of the gym, the indoor pool and the nature trail, which was a bonus The nearby small town of Clayton is also lovely, and the Clayton Cafe is wonderful - great local food and wonderful staff FYI - the home is built into the mountain on a sloping road, so there are 30 steps to climb from the parking area to the front porch, but we are 70 and managed them with no issue Many thanks to Lori and Michelle for the time we spent there

Most wonderful place we have ever stayed.

This place by far was furnished with everything you will need. Talked with the owner who was at the house when we arrived. She was so nice told us if we needed anything at all to call. Met her neighbors who were also so friendly and told us if we had any problems let them know. They also told us about great places to eat. We would recommend it to anyone that wants a great place to stay.
