Overall great location

The Majestic was a very clean property. The check-in process was very easy. It is close to everything. I would definitely stay at this location again.

Fantastic Location!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the condo and the location cannot be beat. Communication with the host was very easy through the text option and responses were very quick. There weren't many frills in the unit versus another unit on the same floor we had family staying in, but good for the price and location - it was a great option comparatively. We would stay again.

Review of stay

The state was nice condo was very clean. Only issue we had was the TV remotes didn’t have batteries and the security gourds Where are ridiculous? around the pool area.

I really like the property! Parking was a bit far from room! Of course I stayed the during bike week and the traffic was so loud and I could hear it in room, so not much sleep. But I would stay here again!

Great Location.....Unit Not Clean

The sink was clogged the whole stay The room smelled horrible upon arrival (they did call to bring air fresheners but by that time we had gotten our own and opened the doors to air it out The dishes were still in dishwasher from previous renters (so we just left them in there and didn’t use) And a few dishes in the cabinet still had water in them where they wasn’t dried before putting them in there There was sand already in the beds A piece of glass under the couch bed Unit just didn’t appear to be cleaned prior to our visit and everything just really needed to be updated! Great Location tho!

Parking and unloading

The fact that you have to leave your drivers license with somebody to get a cart to take your things up to your room is ridiculous - seems like a really big chance for fraud to happen - if you show them your reservation and room # that should be enough - the walking from unloading area is crazy - why can’t you pull up at the front and take your things to your room - the A/C wasn’t working in the walk ways or the elevators - and the elevator took forever - then the parking garage is another nightmare - I was upset that I only had one vehicle and had a hard time finding a space - but the instructions said I could pay for parking at a different location - I was lead to believe that I would be able to park in the garage ! The master bedroom is facing the walkway- which in the pictures looked like it was facing the water - the blinds in the master bedroom were not sufficient to keep anyone from seeing in and then you have to deal with the foot traffic and the noise From the road and other guest - the check out instructions that I got told me to leave the air on at 74 and then when I went to the app to check out it said leave the air at 78 - I would really have to be desperate to book here again - no customer service at all - I will say we made the best of our stay in spite of the really unwelcoming rules and the way we had to take our stuff down since I was a little leery of leaving my drivers license with a stranger ! Hopefully you will change things -

Pictures and descriptions online are accurate to the best of our knowledge. Rules related to parking and cart usage are resort policies. As mentioned on RealJoy and Vrbo websites, "during peak season, Majestic Beach Resort issues one parking pass for 1- and 2-bedroom units. Two parking passes are issued for 3-bedroom units. Public parking is available nearby for additional vehicles. In the off season, 1- and 2-bedroom units can be issued two parking passes." Normally a unit's thermostat is not supposed to go below 72 degrees. This is a safeguard to prevent the air conditioning unit from freezing up due to continually running if a door left open. Overall ok stay. No complaints. For the price I think it could be cleaner and better furnished. Usually stay in nicer condos for the price.

View was great but condo needed attention

The view was amazing. The condo could have been better kept. Microwave handle was broken and pinched my hand, sheets for fold our couch but no pillow cases to be found, 2 coffee makers but one was dirty and clogged the other just didn't work at all so we had to buy coffee every morning, and non smoking room but smelled like cigarettes were smoked in there at some point. Location is great and view is awesome but condo it's self could use some work.

The location was great

Location was awesome. One of the coffee makers wouldn't work and some of the outlets wouldn't work in the kitchen or would stop working if something else was plugged in. The kitchen sink also leaked constantly and the toilet by the bunk beds would run constantly unless you clicked back enough. None of the issues would keep me from coming back but wanted to make you aware of them. Thanks!

Beautiful beachfront location. The water was perfect and we watched the stingrays every morning and afternoon. Would definitely stay here again.

Broken and dirty

The majestic towers itself was a great place. Convenient to everything with a parking deck. The elevators were really slow but that is my only complaint there. BUT the room we stayed in was terrible. When we arrived all the beds were unmade the couch was pulled out and all cushions thrown in the floor. There was a pile of swept up trash in the middle of the floor. The security lock on the door was broken, the laundry door was broken, cabinets in the kitchen were broken, the light on the balcony didn't work, even the paper towel roll holder was broken. Everywhere we turned something was broken or dirty. The front desk was very polite but couldn't help since it was a privately owned condo that was rented out through another company. They said they couldn't even give us linens or towels if we needed them. So FYI bring extra. Also after we had complained about the room, someone came in to the condo while we were at the beach and made the beds even with our stuff everywhere. It made me really uneasy and fell a little bit unsafe. I will also add that the company we booked the condo through, RealJoy, was fantastic!! From the moment we booked to even after we got home. They were very polite, kind, helpful, and tried to make our stay better the best that they could. Bottom line: definitely use RealJoy to book your vacation, Majestic Towers is a good option to stay at on the beach, and NEVER stay in room 1706!

We would like to truly apologize for the cleaning crew not being finished upon your arrival and the broken items that you have mentioned. Yes, the front desk is correct. Since this unit is managed by Real Joy, the property staff would not able to help with such a situation. Housekeeping only provides a certain amount of such items as toilet paper, paper towels, linens, laundry detergent, trash bags, and dish detergent. Guests must provide any additional items that are needed during their stay. Thank you for your patience and for choosing Real Joy.

It did its job for the short stay. All extra linens were stored on the floor in the closet. The floor was not clean. The extra pillows weren’t in good shape, no cases. Towels seemed to be air dried very rough. Bed in master must’ve been a full because we didn’t fit. Floors were pretty bad had to keep shoes on. Being winter I would have assumed the management would have had time to deep clean. The bunk was also not clean many hairs and dust under comfortable. I’m sure I left the room cleaner than I found it. But it was a short stay so I didn’t find the need to complain or have them come out. Price advertised is not accurate. It’s not $45 winter special. My fault, we just wanted a quick last minute getaway. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool. We left early the night before because I missed my bed.

This unit features a queen-size bed in the master suite, twin bunk beds in the hallway with an attached bath, and a sleeper sofa in the living room to comfortably accommodate six guests. We would have been more than happy to send someone to reclean the floors and bunk bed and bring extra pillows, pillow cases and towels had we been made aware during your stay. Beach views were GREAT! The interior needs some love.....

Check-in was a breeze but a little confusing. We did not know whether to go to the front desk, which we did, or go straight to the parking deck. We were instructed by a very nice gentleman at the front desk the process from start to finish and it was a easy from there. Be prepared for long walks to and from the parking garage while having long waits at the elevators. My advice - use the second set of elevators on the right hand side of the building as they seemed less crowded on a regular basis. Upon walking into the room you are hit with a fairly funky smell. It's not terrible but it isn't good either. Although I am sure the cleaning services are under staffed at the moment they did an "ok" job on the place. Linens stocked, beds made, BUT the floor was full of sand from the minute we arrived. I can also say that when you walk around barefoot in this place the bottom of your feet will be very dirty after you do routine of rubbing your feet together before hoping into the bed. Water pressure in the main rooms shower is laughable at best, while the guest shower provided just the right amount. Do you like your beds firm..... like REAL firm? Well then this will be the best nights sleep you've gotten in awhile. Unfortunately, we like middle of the road mattress's and it was a pretty terrible nights sleep throughout the week (Thank god for sun and beer). Moving into the kitchen, the coffee maker has seen better days with some brown(ish) crud at the bottom of the water container which lead us to not trust the pots and pans either. Glasses we washed before using but did our best to stick to the cups we brought and the Pineapple Willy's souvenir cups. Fridge was clean, keep the drinks plenty cold, and the ice maker makes enough to fill a small cooler once per day. 1 20LB bag of ice fit nicely in the freezer and lasted topping off the cooler 2x a day for the week. I heard there was an ice machine on premises but never sought it out. Beach access was essentially as described. 15-20 paces to the elevator, couple minute wait to get down, cut through the indoor pool, and another 15-20 steps to the beach. Majestic has several chairs and umbrellas for rent but with plenty of space for families like us that prefer to bring our own equipment. The outdoor pool was very nice and clean with the outdoor bar a few steps away for drinks and food. I have to admit - the food from majestic was AWESOME! I could say more but I am out of room! Hope this helps!

Limpieza😐😐

El lugar esta perfecto, me encanto poder despertar con una hermosa vista a el mar y ver un delfín todas las mañanas, me gusto igual que tienen seguridad las 24hrs. Su fácil acceso a la playa hace todo mas fácil. Tambien me agradó que dejan los números de teléfono locales en caso de emergencia. Pero la verdad los muebles del condomio estan muy viejos parece que los compraron en una venta de garage. La litera esta en muy malas condiciones mis hijos no quisieron quedarse ahí porque dijeron se va acaer. Asi que ellos durmieron en la recamara principal y nostros en el sofa cama polvoso, no es necesario acercarse demasiado para ver el polvo que tiene el sofa, la lampara de la mesita de noche con mucho polvo, la cefetera por dentro esta muy sucia creo que es moho, los utensilios de la cocina estaban muy viejos, polvo en el ventilador, polvo en las puertas, polvo y polvo. La ventana con vista a el mar estaba sucia, las cortinas igual estan sucias. La verdad su limpieza es terrible. Lo dijo porque nosotros hemos trabajado en limpieza de apartamentos,oficina,casas,daycare y gym. Asi que sabemos la diferencia entre limpieza y ordenado. Los elevadores son muy rapidos, las personas que trabajan ahí son muy amables. El lugar es casi perfecto. Nos gusto mucho, pero de verdad los muebles y la limpieza esta terrible, hasta mis niños (8y 10) dijeron que esa fue la parte que no les gusto de sus vaciones.

Very Disappointed

Bugs, dirty furniture, dirty pots and pans, dirty coffee pot, dirty faucets.... The furniture was not only dirty but terribly uncomfortable. The dining chairs were missing their cushions and besides the dirty couch, there was one other uncomfortable wicker chair. Parking - It was beyond ridiculous that we had to search for disabled parking for my grandmother each night...and the fact we are only allowed one car for a 6-person condo! Extremely disappointed in the conditions we stayed in for the money we paid! I’ll never consider this condo again nor any at The Majestic.

Beautiful location!!

We really enjoyed our stay. You can’t get a better view and the amenities were perfect. I would recommend a lower floor if you have a family though. We frequently waited more than 5 minutes for the elevator and 17 floors was a lot to climb each time. The only other complaint I have is that the bed already had sand in it under the comforter when we arrived. Check in and check out was seamless though and the easiest process I’ve ever had in my history of renting condos 😊 We would definitely stay again.
