This house needs some major updates!!! The carpet is DISGUSTING!!! The water heater in the garage looks like it leaked or was drained into the garage and it is moldy and stinks. The grill (the second one because the first built-in is rusty and totally unusable) has rusted burners and burner covers, so they put foil on them to try and cover it up, but it still flared really bad and charred our food. The kitchen chairs either need to be replaced or new covers need to be put on them because they flake all over the floor and on your clothing. The dishwasher left our dishes greasy, so we just washed them by hand. I think the bath and pool towels were bought at the Dollar store because they were small, thin, and scratchy. The window shades all had holes in them. As soon as I pulled up I figured it was going to be a sh*t show because the door was dirty and the lock was crooked. The hosts were quick to respond about the grill but all they did was put more foil on it, not actually fix it.

I was not pleased! The house overall was just okay. The carpet was filthy, the furniture was raggedy, broken and falling apart. The AC vents had mildew or some sort of stains all around them, one of the King beds had a dip in the center of the mattress

Almost no words to describe

This house is in a fantastic gated community and prime location and it has the footprint to be a great vacation spot.... if it was actually being taken care of. There needs to be someone who inspects the property before each rental begins. Most of the seating chairs in this house needs to be either reupholstered or replaced as they were worn and in a lot of cases stripping, makes you not want to sit on any of them. There are stains on the carpet upstairs and in the downstairs bedroom... makes you not want to take off your shoes....good thing we had indoor slippers to wear. Furniture has obvious cracks in them. A lot of the walls have dents and small holes. Electrical outlet with no cover (this is a hazard if traveling with young kids). Some walls have been repaired but not repainted. Dirty shirt left on one of the bedroom balcony that we could not access (door was locked). Blinds on the windows are either faulty (does not adjust either up or down) or offer no privacy to the external surrounding areas at nights. Some of the surrounding area around the air vents looked like mold or was extremely dirty...made us wonder what kind of air we were breathing in for our three day stay. We did not utilize the garage as that had a moldy smell to it. We were so uncomfortable being there, that we did not trust anything, we went to Walmart and purchased bed linen. We made sure to stay out of the house as much as possible and only came back to sleep. Extreme uncomfortable stay!

It was a nice stay. The house can use some updating, but it was a nice house. The outside area where the pool is located was so much fun.

Know before you go...

I will start this review stating that we learned it is an overall deal for desirable Reunion so I suppose you get what you pay for here. The gentleman who was the main repair guy was exceptional. That said, this is the epitome of what I can only presume is an out of country owner who could careless about the home. The home shows signs of wear and tear and deferred maintenance everywhere, inside and out. Little things from 2 of 3 garage exterior lights out, which make a big impression from curb in evening and first impression. Additionally, the ekey handle and lock was poorly installed and crooked. Such small items are meaningful to first impressions. I write this review as someone who owns real estate, including in this Orlando market. The home is incredibly neglected, which I will put on owner being cheap and not property manager not offering advice. Issues include small things such as no small dish soap to get started for dishes to avoid dishwasher or those not dishwasher safe, explanation of gym/community pool fob being a refundable fee in advance, pool skimmer had no net, no drain board or napkin holder, dryer dial/timer broken so did not function on setting you expected, kitchen sink had no hot water, 2nd floor MBR mattress sinks to middle, carpets VERY worn. Biggest issue was AC on main floor broken for majority of our stay and I was treated as someone who didnt know what I was talking about. It was finally replaced 2 days before we left a 12 day trip.

Orlando getaway

All adults trip to celebrate a birthday. House was as described in photos. Spacious and clean. Furniture did have signs of wear. Towels were small and rough feeling. Great location close to everything but also out of the way for peace and quiet. We would definitely book again

Great location but the house needs some work

The house is large and the location is fantastic! From the ease of getting to and from places and the location of the home in the beautiful resort, I would certainly stay in Reunion again. The communication with the house management company was timely and pleasant. The house needs a good deep cleaning, I am not sure the house gets cleaned well by the cleaning company. The carpet was so dirty out feet were darkened after walking on it, did not seem like it was vacuumed prior to our stay. There was also a huge dark stain on the carpet in the room my husband and I stayed it. There was blood spots on one of the pillow cases. I did call and there were new ones brought over the next morning. The pool heater was broken so we did not have heat like we requested and from the time we arrived to then we left the pool lost a solid 8” of water so we had to refill with the hose. Overall the house is spacious and in an amazing community. It just needs a good deep cleaning and likely carpet replacement. Despite the issues that could not be fixed during the stay, the management company did respond to a majority of the messages I sent.

Disappointed

We very much looked forward to taking the grandkids to the waterpark in the complex. The listing specifically says, "you'll have access to a plethora of amenities, like a water park, tennis courts, and much more." What we did not know was that a membership was required for access to the water park, and this home does not have a membership and the water park IS NOT INCLUDED. The listing does state property without MEMBERSHIP, but we did not realize what that meant, when the listing specifically states there is access. When we finally got ahold of someone, they told us it was clearly stated that it was not included. This was very deceiving. We loved the layout, but had to remove the rug in the living room when we found multiple shards of broken glass in the rug. The baby's now had to play on the hard surface floors. The kitchen counter had food crumbs on our arrival, the garage had standing water on a the floor from a water heater leak and was very musty smelling, The built in grill that is in the photos was un-usable, instead a cheaper one was there that was locked, with empty propane tanks despite that we paid extra for it. They did give us the combo to unlock it after we complained. I can say that we started out with a negative mood because of the deception in the water park, and the other issues did not help to overcome that. The pool was very nice, we paid for heat and glad that we did since the weather was cold. We also did not enjoy the cheap plastic mattress covers.

Great space! Only a couple complaints!

Our stay was great, and we enjoyed the home, and location! The blinds do not all work, and the pool was WAY WAY too hot to enjoy. Paying to heat the pool was a complete waste of money for us. Beds need new mattress covers! They are all cracked and worn out and uncomfortable to sleep on. No access to the Reunion amenities.

Nice Family Experience

House was Beautiful. Every bedroom had a bathroom which was a plus. The Pool was awesome. And any issues we had, all of them were fixed in a timely manner. Only problem was not knowing garbage pickup times. And it would be nice if the beds had box springs. But other than that we would definitely stay here again

Bachelorette Weekend!

House is as pictured, could use a little TLC and a few repairs. The door lock is ready to break, so I would believe it’s been a problem, but not repaired. There are no common kitchen items for use and the towels really need to be updated!

Perfect for family of 9

Close to Disney. Nice quiet neighborhood. Loved the pool and each bedroom had a bathroom. Very spacious. Bring your own wash clothes and toilet paper. Also there were no mixing bowls, measuring cups, thing like that so we had to improvise to make pancakes. But We would stay here again.

Overall it was a stunning experience but the property just need small smiple repair like bath room paper holder was loose in all bathrooms and toilet seat were loose chips in floor and dings and dents in walls and the house just needs a better cleaning in an overall we found a pillow in a closet that looked like it needed to be clean in a nut shell detail to quality

Family “reunion”

Wonderful family trip! Comfortable rooms and lots of space. Convenient for my older Mom with a big room on the bottom floor. I wish the kitchen was better stocked, there were no bowls or serving platters. The pool was great, I’m glad we paid the extra fees to have it heated. Overall, I would recommend this property.

Stunning house!!!

This is one of the best places I have stayed in. The house is just like the pictures. It has Stunning view from the balcony. I was able to see the most amazing sunrise and sunsets. Will definitely recommend you staying here. Staff very friendly and easy to communicate with. I ask to do a check- in a few hours early and they were so easy to accommodate for me. I will definitely be coming back..

Beautiful with Peaceful Surroundings

The house is gorgeous. Had a little hiccup during check-in, but host/customer service were quick to fix it. There is a lot of information provided before check-in so reading is fundamental. You have to bring your own wash clothes but towels and hand towels are provided. The kitchen should be stocked with more glassware. But we made due. All in all the house is beautiful. Plenty of room. The pool was right on point especially with us requesting it to be heated.

Looking for other house next year

The bedrooms have no box springs , not enough pots and pans, 2 steak knives, no starter kit for kitchen and bathrooms. Patio furniture very old , lounge chairs are broken
