We were initially given the incorrect unit information so when we first arrived, we were told we were staying in Cove 1. We do not know where the misinformation came from. We stepped into a unit with no electricity or wifi, it was very dirty, and had several kitchen amenities and other items missing. With no internet, we had to incur roaming charges to make phone calls to call Vacasa to figure out what happened. They reported they would contact the property owner and call us later. Half an hour to an hour passed with no word from anyone so we ended up walking around the complex and ran into a resident who let us use his internet. Then we were able to contact the owner and discovered we were given check in information for the wrong unit. The unit we were actually in was clean, had electricity, had wifi and was much better. It still did nit have everything listed in the guest book (various kitchen items) but it had the important things.
Another observation worth mentioning is the unit smelled like weed when we entered. We also noticed in other units that vacasa employees seemed to be staying in the then while getting them ready.
We also were disappointed the club (large pool, gym etc) were so far away.
