Enjoy total peace with beautiful views and the sound of waves.

Los Almendros is an upscale secured property with 42 owners. The only property directly on the beautiful Playa Ocotal Blue Flag Beach. The preferred beach for snorkeling in Guanacaste.

Large private covered terrace with stunning ocean views, see photos! Just a few steps to one of the 3 pools. Beautiful new teak furniture with a table that can comfortably seat 8 people.

Pathway leading directly to the beach. This tropical condo has 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms and a large exceptionally equipped kitchen, living and dining space. Fully renovated with high end finishes and equipped with every amenity.

. Everything needed in a chef's kitchen. Nutri-bullet blender to make smoothies, rice maker, every tool imaginable right down to the pineapple corer.

- Steps away from the iconic Father Rooster restaurant which hosts live music every Wednesday (sushi night) and Friday (ceviche night).

The hosts have been coming to the area for 20 years and are happy to assist you in planning outings and excursions. As are the fully bilingual staff.

Amazing stay! The location was perfect. Secluded yet close to the beach and to town and very safe with 24 hour guarded/gated entrance/exit. The place was well stocked and the owner Donna and her local property manager, Rose, were extremely responsive, accommodating, and super helpful with this being our first time to Costa Rica. Highly recommend this place and we are already planning a return trip to stay at this exact place again.

This place is beautiful! It was so clean when we got there. Communication with host and property manager is great. Rosa met us and showed us around. 24/7 security and it is so safe. The grounds are well kept. We were able to see howler monkeys out the front door! Sunsets are beautiful. The condo is at the top of a steep hill so walk to the beach could be a little difficult for some. Overall a great place to stay and would definitely recommend and go back to again if we get the chance!

My first visit to Costa Rica with my daughters and won’t be my last. Condo is in a great location and I felt safe. The condo was fully stocked with everything you would need. Donna was wonderful and had so much local information that was extremely helpful. This condo is a great home base with many beaches and activities around.

Great location, close to beach and near other beaches, restaurants and grocerie stores. Apt was clean, comfortable and well equiped. Guest was great, communication was fluent and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable.

Beautiful villa

This villa has been completely remodeled, it is beautiful, the location is great for viewing, walking to the beach or pool. The host is very friendly and easy to communicate with . We are already our next stay at this Villa. We absolutely loved this place.

Beautiful stylish place, great view and beach access

The place is stylish and beautiful with a wonderful view of Ocotal beach where we could watch the sunset from the balcony. There is a private path leading to a very very nice beach. I went there every day. Everything was well thought off for the comfort of the guests (coffee machine, Nutribullet, tv, beach chairs, towels, WiFi and more). Very safe place with a gate for access to the grounds which are tropical and beautifully maintained with several pools. There was a detailed booklet with suggestions of where to visit, where to shop, etc. Donna is a great owner with sensitivity and great taste which shows in the condo and the way she treats her guests. Loved the vacation. Pura Vida.

Home away from home

Hosts are absolutely beautiful people and very helpful and responsiveAbsolute luxury. Beautiful view of the water. Beach couple minute walk. One of the best beaches in area. Excellent restaurant on the beach with music twice a week. Father Roosters excellent food and service. Nice pool and gardens. Wonderful time.

We are Donna and Richard

This is a second property at Los Almendros for us, we are new hosts who are keen to please. The other condo is our personal space in which we escape the cold Canadian winters. We have been coming to playa Ocotal for 20 years and had dreamed of being at Los Almendros de Ocotal. We were able to do so 3 years ago and never want to go home while we are here :)

We added a second property and look forward to meeting people who will undoubtedly fall in love with Costa Rica and its' people just like we did. We can give you many references for things to do, restaurants, excursions and much more.

Il s'agit d'une deuxième propriété à Los Almendros pour nous, nous sommes de nouveaux hôtes désireux de plaire à nos invités. L'autre condo est notre espace personnel pour se sauver des hivers canadiens. Nous venons à Playa Ocotal depuis 20 ans et rêvions d'être à Los Almendros de Ocotal. Nous avons réaliser ce rêve il y a 3 ans et quand nous y sommes on n'a jamais le goût de partir :)

Nous avons hâte de rencontrer des gens qui tomberont sans aucun doute amoureux du Costa Rica et de ses habitants, tout comme nous. Nous pouvons vous fournir de nombreuses références pour les choses à faire, les restaurants, les excursions et bien plus encore.
