Beautiful high standard property

A wonderful property!

A wonderful property for our family Thanksgiving get-together! We were specifically looking for a rental home that was open and comfortable, as well as having an element of charm ... while at the same time meeting our need for a full kitchen (double oven was a blessing), dining area and family room. This home was perfect! Clean and comfortable, we enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful family holiday. Thank you Pam and Bill for providing such a great property!

Perfect vacation home

This is a very spacious rental that easily accommodates 4 people (2 big bedrooms, two full baths). I have rented 7 other properties in the region over the past 12 years and this is the most thoroughly well appointed, with everything you need and then some. The hosts, Bill & Pam, live just next door and are very friendly and helpful. The location in a wooded area is very quiet and relaxing.

Will return but purchased our own property

Great and way beyond original expectations. Pam and Bill went above and beyond what typical owner provides and interacts. wonderful people and very helpful in a number of areas beyond the property. Highly recommend staying here for anyone looking as we did for a clean, quiet, peaceful and friendly location for a month.

Mountain Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this quaint and cozy Hendersonville home. Bill and Pam were extremely helpful, thoughtful, and easy to communicate with. The house was everything pictured and more so. The kitchen had all that was needed and cooking on the outdoor grill was perfect. Receiving a lovely bottle of wine, flowers and a personal note really made the visit even more special. Hope to return in the future.

Great Anniversary!!

Our host we exceptional, very friendly and knowable. We love how the lights were on, fresh flowers were out and music was playing when we arrived. It was very welcoming. It was well stocked in kitchen and bathrooms. There is so much to do that we were not able to do everything that we wanted. We will be back. Thank you

Most Amazing

Absolutely amazing place to stay. We enjoyed a much needed weekend getaway. Owners were available if we needed anything, and they were okay with our late arrival. Thank you for having lights, and music on on our arrival. This set the tone for a great weekend. Hot tub was great as well. We are already planning a return!

Perfect !

My husband and I stayed at this property for three weeks . Pam and Bill were gracious hosts and thought of everything we needed for a perfect stay . Cleanliness and comfort are the words that come easily when you open the door !The property is easily accessible, however , you feel that you are “away” ! We intend to stay here many times in the future as “our NC home “.

Cozy Mountain Getaway

Great place to get away and to enjoy the mountain air. Easy access to tubing/ziplining in Saluda and Lake Lure. Easy drive to Asheville. Lots or great parks and falls in the surrounding areas to see, and after a long day of being out and about, you can relax in the hot tub, which was fantastic!

Clean, well decorated home

We fell in love with the floors and how clean everything was. The kitchen and living flowed great together for cooking and talking with friends at the same time. Just a few steps away from the house was a nice relaxing hot tub that was easy to use. House was well equipped for our stay and had a few extra as well. Peaceful at night for a great night's sleep. Soft towels and comfortable bed. Property owner are nice and accommodating.

Great rental

The house was amazing. Extremely clean and well stocked with necessary items such as kitchen utensils and cookware. Both bedrooms had extremely comfortable beds as well as outdoor access. The owners are extremely nice and will go above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable. We will definitely return to this property for our future visits to the area.

A quiet place to relax and unwind

My family (husband, teenage daughter, and I) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Before deciding to book the place, I read the reviews. Based on one very thorough review, I learned that the owners lived on the same plot of land, relatively close to the house. The pictures don't necessarily allow you to know that, and I probably would have been a bit disappointed with the location had I not read that review. That same review included a complaint about the internet access (which was a concern as my husband was going to be working remotely during our stay). The owner responded politely to the concern, stating she had upgraded the internet at the house. A quick email to her confirmed the internet speed, and I was sold. After booking the place, the owner was very helpful answering questions and clearly wanted to make sure we had everything we needed for our trip. While I never met her in person, I can say that she is kind and helpful, attentive to our needs. The house was lovely. W But everything else was fantastic. The space has 2 large bedrooms, great for two couples or a couple and older children. The 2nd bedroom is downstairs from the main floor with a door leading to the outside, so I personally wouldn't want to use it for small children.

Perfect getaway

This is the perfect location for anyone looking for some peace and quite while still being close to town with all the activities. I was overwhelmed by the hospitality, cleanliness, and attention to detail the owners put into the property. My only comment would be to add a little more detail about the layout of the house in the listing just to give you a better idea for planning purposes if traveling with younger children. It was a wonderful trip and I will definitely plan on staying here again next time we are in town.

Fantastic experience

We've used VRBO for a number of years, in different cities, but this was our best experience yet. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to anyone. The hosts anticipated every need and added so many nice touches--we can't wait to return.

Nice House

The house is very clean, they have furnished it very well, the house it self is very nice, The owners are very nice people, they give you your privacy, but just know there home is within 50” of you door, the hot tub is at the end of the shared driveway on the end of there house, the fire place in the down stairs bed room was a very nice touch but it was not hooked up , owner said there was a code issue something about the ventilation, none of these things were listed on Vrbo, when the owner opened the hot tub when we arrived there were leaves and hair floating in it, he also told us his wife uses it in the morning before work! The next thing is the wireless internet is sooooo slow yo can’t hardley use it, good thing our phones had signal , tv had Netflix but internet so bad it would not connect, again these are just things we saw that if we new before hand we would have made a different choice.

A piece of heaven

Our stay was beyond our expectations. We came as rental guest and left as friends. Pam and Bill are now part of our lives. So close to town and all the places we wanted to go. Enjoyed Pearson’s Falls and Rhododendron park. Had two rainy days, didn’t go out and loved staying in. So warm and comfortable. We would absolutely want to come back.

It was more like staying in a home than a rental.

Very clean, everything from plates, pans, glasses, towels, etc. were better than most rentals. Some extras like bathrobes, plush towels, and fresh flowers were over and above. Plenty of room for 4 adults. Would stay there again. A bit more transparency needed in pics and write up. The 2nd bedroom is basement but the bathroom upstairs, shared driveway with owners' house, fire pit and hot tub were "private" but at end of driveway, and wifi was agonizingly slow.

This is a beautiful property, easy to get to, close to downtown Hendersonville NC

Pam and Bill were terrific hosts! They thought of everything you may need to have a relaxing stay. They even left the lights on for us as we arrived later than planned!

Great Property and Owners

This property was perfect for me and my wife's long weekend. The house has everything you would need and is a great place to spend time when you are not exploring the area. The hosts could not have been better. Bill had plenty of information on how to use different amenities on the property, and he also knew where to find the best hiking trails in the area. His wife Pam gave us great options to eat that were close by and made us feel more than welcome. Both were extremely helpful and nice. We look forward to making it back to the area in the future, and we will definitely try to book this property again.

Felt like home

The cabin was wonderful. Close to Hendersonville, Asheville, Lake Lure and Brevard. Pam and Bill were amazing. Very nice and accommodating. We had such a wonderful stay.

Bill and Pam moved to Hendersonville from Naples Fl. "We turned 50 something and asked each other if we were ready for a new life adventure. We had visited this area and decided that this was the right location for us." Pam has been in the medical field for over 30 years. Bill has owned his own business for over 30 years and now is an active local musician. "We moved here and purchased two properties in Laurel Park. Ending up in this home, we fixed it up to our pleasure. We expanded our property to over an acre and built a carriage home for us and now offering the main house for you."
