We loved our stay. It is a small but beautifully situated house, high on a hill, far from neighbors. The kitchen, bathrooms, and hot tub were immaculately clean. The windows all had new screens. The basement area feels more cold and dark (and kinda cobwebby) rec room than cozy sleeping area--I guess think of it as glamping? :-) Our daughter chose to sleep on the couch in the upstairs loft, with its homey wood paneling. No microwave but the toaster oven is a fancy confection oven that heats up in seconds and doesn't heat up the kitchen. Bring an extra towel or two for the hot tub. The pond was inaccessible, as the path down to it hadn't been cleared, but the garden was lovely and provided fresh vegetables!
