This was the perfect stay close to our daughter‘s home 13 minutes away. We visited for Thanksgiving and our parents were with us. It is a bit tight for four people but easily doable! Sitting outside in the morning, drinking our coffee and watching the sunrise was probably our favorite part. The host were very helpful with everything during our stay and stayed communication with us throughout our visit. When we are back in Lake City again and need a place to stay, we will definitely stay stay at the Do Duck Inn.

This was our second time at the cabin and we love it so much! It’s so peaceful, clean, and has everything we need and then some. Michael is the best host, and we look forward to coming back again next year!

Beautiful, peaceful

Do Duck exceeded all expectations. It's secluded, private lake front, so peaceful. Sunrises are breathtaking. Mike, property owner was great. We were in the area for a softball tournament and it was a great escape after long days at the field. Highly recommend.

Perfect getaway!

Michael was an amazing host and the cabin is perfect. It’s so quiet and serene, you basically have the whole lake to yourself. The cabin was well-equipped with everything we needed. We’re already planning our next trip back!

Perfect get away

This property was just perfect for a peaceful getaway in the north Florida country. Host was great helping us get settled and left us to enjoy this awesome location in seclusion. We kayaked, fished, and slept well. It is a great escape for those tired of overdeveloped or big city congestion. A wonderful reminder of what is wonderful about Florida and the natural environment other counties are so quick to eliminate and develop. Just beautiful. Visited nearby springs and were amazed. This is close to I 75 and yet feels so rural and unspoiled. Would definitely stay her again!

Amazing remote office view

Working out of town for a few weeks and did not want to be cooped up in a hotel room for that amount of time. What an amazing option this property was! Peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. The “office view” was incredible!

Relaxing Anniversary Getaway

Wow! I don't really know where to start because there are so many amazing things to say about this hidden gem of a property! My husband and I spent the weekend here to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. Even though we arrived late Friday evening, Michael met us at the cabin and showed us where everything was and how everything worked, etc. His attention to detail as a host from the fresh flowers, to the robes for the hot tub, to the fishing tackle and gear and the supplies for the fire made our trip that much more enjoyable. The cabin and property itself is a perfect, relaxing, and peaceful paradise! The cabin is small and cozy and well equipped with everything you need. And the property and lake! There aren't enough words to describe how absolutely beautiful it is! It is so quiet and peaceful and you feel like you are alone and hours away from everything, yet you are only 15 minutes away from town and everything you need. We enjoyed waking up to stunning sunrises that you can see from the bed, seeing the wildlife (birds, bald eagles, turtles, and a gator), utilizing the kayaks and fire pit that is provided, and just relaxing! It really was the best way to celebrate our anniversary and we can't wait to go back! We would love to make it an annual tradition.

Short get away

Great place to get away and relax. Great view overlooking lake. Just 15 minutes from lake city and 30 from ichetucknee springs. The host Michael was great. I spoke to him about the fishing in the lake and when he got there to check us in he had brought me some bait to fish with. We had a bad storm come thru and he text me to make sure all was good. He didn’t have to do either of these but he did and it was greatly appreciated. If you are looking for some peace and quiet this is the place to go. It’s not real big so it’s perfect for one or two people. I will definitely look this place up if I ever stay in that area again.

Above and beyond

This place was everthing i hoped for and more. It was quiet and peaceful and not another Soul around. clean and beautiful right down to the fresh flowers in the cabin. The owner went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. the surrounding nature with everything you could ask for. I can't wait to go again

Everything about this cabin is perfect, the scenery, location, owner’a hospitality. I enjoyed every second spent there. Is the perfect place to relax away from the city and the same time is close to restaurants and essential needs. We will definitely come back!

A Perfect Fishing Retreat

This is our second time staying at Do Duck Inn, and it was just as wonderful as the first! The property is beautiful and private, and the lake is well-stocked with bass and bream. We went out on the water several times a day, every day, and only once saw another person (though we did see a rather large, but shy, gator)! We cooked out every night on the charcoal grill which made the food taste so much better than cooking on gas, and the evenings afterward were spent having long conversations sitting out by the fire pit. We especially enjoyed the hot tub for relaxing those muscles strained after hours of fishing! The cabin is charming and cozy, well stocked with everything you could need, and the beds are very comfortable. The screened-in porch is perfect for sipping a cup of coffee (or a mimosa) and watching the sun come up. Michael is welcoming and friendly and the best kind of host. He met us at the cabin when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed, including his contact information should a need arise. Our stay was everything we hoped it would be, and we didn’t want to leave! If you are looking for a getaway to fish and relax, the Do Duck Inn is the perfect place!

Wonderful getaway

This cabin is wonderful. Quiet and secluded, but close to I-10 and I-75. The host, Michael, is very attentive and strived to make our stay perfect in every way.
