Great cabin

Great vacation!

Wonderful stay!

Its a beautiful location with plenty of space for a larger group of people (there was only two people on our trip). Plenty to do, with a very well stocked kitchen to create dishes. Amazing trip all around, we would highly recommend staying and hope to be back soon!

Great Place

Very nice secluded place with plenty of space for our family (4 adults and 2 children under 5). Very clean and well supplied. Nothing fancy but very comfortable and and centrally located for all the Black Hills attractions.

Mountain retreat vacation

It was very peaceful and lovely location. The set up for the house worked well for our family of 6. It’s a bit off the beaten path so takes some planning for activities in the area, but it was just what we were hoping for. Beautiful scenery.

Cozy house

Traveling with two teens, we really enjoyed this house as there was space for all of us. The house was a little bit of a drive on winding roads but was a central spot for main attractions. The hot tub was nice and we really liked the cozy feel of the house. We would stay again!

Great remote location

This was a great house and location. Long winding switchback gravel road to get in and out of so you won’t get anywhere fast! The three bedrooms were all spacious and comfy, and the kitchen was well equipped and laid out.

Cozy peaceful clean cabin

Cozy clean cabin in a peaceful secluded mountain area of the Black Hills of S Dakota. Beds v comfortable, kitchen has adequate spices, utensils, cookware. Drive up is long and steep but once you get there it’s v nice. Driving distances to Mt Rushmore, Badlands, Deadwood, Sturgis, not far. Good restaurants in Hill City and wineries. Close to Lake Pactola

Wildlife View

Deer and wild turkeys at the deck’s edge almost nightly, plus lots of little forest creatures made this cabin unique. Very comfortable home. One of the most well-stocked homes we have ever stayed at.

Great Location

Great location , many attractions, 2 lakes and ATV trails within 30 mins of the house. House has everything you need. The one thing to be aware of, it’s a bit of a up hill drive to the house. But with it being up on a hill you get a wonderful view of sunsets and stars at night while sitting around a gas fire pit. The hot tub was a great way to end the night

We are a family owned business here at Edelweiss Mountain Lodging. We treat our guests as we want to be treated while on vacation. All our homes are owned by individual families. We operate an atv tour business, Black Hills Outdoor Fun. We love meeting people and helping them enjoy their time in the hills. We were born and raised in South Dakota .

Motorcycle riders this home has 3 miles of gravel to the home.
There is parking for a small trailer no longer than 16 ft.
