Subjectively, this property is "old." Not broken or depressing. Just not Scandinavian chic. Just so you know if that sort of thing is important to you. Old furniture, exposed gas meters, wonky floor plan. Feels like you've entered into your great grandmother's 1930's apartment (with some upgrades in the 70s).
Now objectively, this property is a steal. Best is the size of the place. You can absolutely, truly sleep five adults (two couples, one singleton) in their own bedrooms. No sleeping on the pull out couch. Full size dining area too.
The location is very quiet and yet across the street from the SMK. You are in CPH without the traffic. Safe neighborhood. If you're not a walker, it is a bit of a hike to the nearest train/metro station (Oesterport is 800m, Norreport is 1100m). But both stations give you access to the whole country.
The apartment is also on the first floor (2nd floor for Americans). So there are some (15?) stairs and no elevator. There is a bathtub (a rarity in Scandinavia!) but navigating it might be tricky as the sides are high. No other showering option exists.
Niels lives on the premises so he is immediately available if need be. And proved to be both attentive and thorough as well as pleasant. He owns the apartment, so you're not renting from a corporation.
Finally, the price can't be beat. Yes, it's old and not shiny. But for what you're paying, you'll not find a better opportunity.
