Traveling to Branson/Hollister MO area to celebrate 40th anniversary. The vrbo was exactly the right location, price with lovely accommodations. No direct lake access, but we were not there for the lake. Our activities included: Dolly Pardons Dixie Stampede, Top of the Rock, (must see/do cart tour), accompanying museum (endless collection), Dogwood Canyon Tram tour (must see/do), and couples shooting academy for skeet shooting with Big Cedar/Bass Pro.
Terrific breakfast/lunch restaurant very near by, called The Happy Hunter, oh my goodness, what a terrific breakfast, terrific service, home cookin'! Dinner out at The Downing Street Pour House was fabulous, the restaurant is beautiful also, located in old towne Hollister.
The vrbo was beautiful inside, spacious living, dining, family area. Two large bedrooms with kings, each also had a fold out twin. Would easily accommodate two couples with a child or two. One very nice bathroom.
The living room was very comfortable, full sofa, comfy arm chair and comfy recliner. The only outdoor amenities at the vrbo were covered deck with table/chairs some furnishings. We didn't spend much time outside while at the vrbo. Our daily activities were daily outings so we were tired when we returned. We stayed 3 nights, and I hope that we can return and do it all again very soon! I have no review of the kitchen appliances, or amenities as we ate out and did not cook while at the vrbo. Host was responsive. Five Stars all the way around!!
