ALOHA and Welcome to our Island Paradise! 🌴🌸 Maui No Ka Oi. This C-601 corner studio unit is on the TOP FLOOR of Kihei Akahi right across from the beautiful Kamaole Beach II in very sunny South Kihei You have Privacy and Security along with a direct front facing ocean views and your very own designated parking spot for your entire stay. Once you walk in, you are embraced by the fragrant tropical breeze and the gorgeous views of the blue Pacific with views of Molokini, Lanai, and Kahoolawe in front of you. Kihei Akahi is beautifully landscaped and has 28 varieties of native flowers and plants that enhance your island experience - a UNIQUE tropical resort !
The condo was completely remodeled with granite countertops and travertine flooring along with free Hi- Speed WiFi.
We have installed a brand new Friedrich A/C inside the condo; it is a 15,000 BTU, the absolute largest allowed for our size condo along with a ceiling fan above the bed, as well as the cool island breezes which flow through the condo.
The private lanai offers a full on 180 degree unobstructed ocean view.
As the condo is only steps away from the beach, you can enjoy your day surfing, snorkeling, sunbathing, swimming - or just relaxing by the pool. After a busy day exploring the island, you can spend a restful evening on the lanai watching the ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE sunset, or enjoy the variety of nightlife as we are within walking distance to many shops, bars and restaurants. You might even see whales during Whale Watching season from the lanai and there is also a tennis court which is also a pickleball court!
At night, just let go completely and relax in the Queen size bed with a comfortable new Serta Perfect sleeper firm mattress and let yourself relax while listening to the ocean waves gently rock you to sleep.

The condo has everything you could need to make your Maui experience as enjoyable as possible. Unwind watching TV on a 32 inch flatscreen after a busy day at the beach, swimming, playing tennis or golfing at one of the many nearby highly rated golf courses. Maui offers something for everyone.

The kitchen has utensils, a blender, microwave, cookware, a new 12 cup coffee maker, teapot, bagel size toaster, a gas oven/range; there is even a hairdryer in the bathroom and we also have a Full size washer/dryer inside. Our activity closet has 2 Tommy Bahama beach chairs, beach towels, and 2 ice-coolers (hard & soft case). Please bring your own personal toiletries (sunscreen, shampoo, soaps, etc…) or you can also also pickup travel size ones at a nearby store.
We want to make your stay as special as possible, so please do not hesitate to let us know how we can help you enjoy your vacation in Paradise and create an extraordinary memory.

Being on the 6th floor you have a perfect view to watch the sunset every night. Location was great. Right across the street from Kam 2 beach and walking distance to several food options and souvenir shops. The condo was a good size for two people. Definitely recommend staying here.

We have stayed here several times and always enjoy the view. Location is super-convenient to stores and eateries, and it is right across street from a great swimming beach.

The property is listed as a studio “penthouse” but it is a basic studio at best. The location is good, however…-the air conditioner is totally inadequate considering the unit gets intense western sun all afternoon-the TV has 3 remotes and requires a degree in electrical engineering to operate-no dishwasher-no suitcase racks, no towel rails and many windows with no light control blinds-the main problem is there was no relaxing place to sit and relax when not sleeping in the bed.Finally, the sunsets are nice but there’s no nice place to sit comfortably to enjoy them!

Great location and gorgeous views!

This place was perfect for what I was looking for, which was something close to Kihei food spots and beaches. The property is actually located right across from Kamaole Beach 2. It’s on the top floor so the views were also spectacular, I saw some beautiful sunsets!It had a full size fridge which was perfect for keeping some food in the room so I didn’t have to eat every meal out, and beach chairs and towels were provided so I didn’t have to pack or rent any of those things. The washer/dryer in the room were also great, I was able to launder some of my clothes while there.It’s also a short walk and drive (if you’ve got a rental car) to several famous food spots, including Kihei Cafe where my friends and I had a great breakfast. Exactly what I was looking for!

Comfortable stay

We had a comfortable stay at this VRBO. The checkin instructions were clear and we did not have any issues during our stay. This property was one of the affordable places in the area and we loved it. It was close to the beaches and had lots of local shops and restaurants nearby. Only thing missing at this property was soaps/bodywash in the bathrooms. That was something we needed to go searching for during the first night of our stay.

Fun and easy

The place is located really well for the beach which is just across the street and for eating at some of the best restaurants on Maui. Views are perfect and there is now other balcony next to this one so it also has privacy. Great place and we will stay here again.

Beautiful View & Perfect location

The view from the lanai was amazing! Restaurants and shops within walking distance were fantastic. The beach across the street was perfect, watch sunset almost every night. The snorkeling was amazing, swam next to a sea turtle and saw an eel and countless variety of fish. Great vacation and the host was very responsive.

We had an amazing time in Maui Specifically Kihei, the condo was perfect in every aspect, the cleanliness, bed and kitchen were amazing the ability to utilize the accessories like beach chairs and coolers were perfect and the other items in the washroom, flat iron blow dryer and washer and dryer worked perfect. Studio with great view across from beach. Nice to have a tennis/pickleball court as part of the complex. As mentioned in the listing, there is no dishwasher. Only minor negatives are the a/c is a bit loud and there is no beach umbrella. Otherwise everything is provided for a short term stay. Good value close to beach and restaurants.

As Advertised

We saw this unit from the ground when we stayed at Kihei Akahi a couple years ago so we targeted it on our next visit best it's not hard to see that it has the best views in the complex! Sunsets anytime you want. The unit is a studio so great for 2 people. The only thing I would change is put a king size bed in instead of queen. It would be a little tighter but I would totally trade that for quality of sleep. Overall, O will be staying here again in the future!

Great Location- Perfect with a few extra touches

Kihei, and specifically Kihei Akahi is in the perfect location (for Kam beaches & all the restaurants/stores). Then this unit is prime at the resort! The elevator was usually fast (but we used nearby stairs for workout). Loved the chairs, umbrella, and coolers. With just a few details addressed, it could easily be a 5-star location: Pillows-We were only furnished with 4 very flat, plastic covered (the pillowcase slid off every night) bed pillows, totally inadequate for side sleepers. When I inquired about additional/better pillows we were just told that was "standard". Also, the bed is lacking padding for side-sleepers. AC-We are very energy conscious but had to run the AC unit all the time and it barely kept up. It may be powerful but the sun beats in all afternoon and the curtains don't fully cover the west facing door so it heats up if you don't run it all day. Opening the door in the evening is the best way to cool the unit. Wi-fi is NOT "Super-fast high speed". We had serious slow downs and interruptions several times. Missing items-I brought whole bean coffee and unit missed a grinder as stated (perhaps taken or broken?). Thankfully, I bought ground coffee as a gift at Costco that we could use. We suggest having a clock in the unit (especially bedside) as had to find a phone to know the time. More hangers in the closet and hooks would be great to hang up wet towels, swimsuits, and clothing. I was struggling to find places that wouldn't damage wood furniture.

The view from the balcony was nothing short of magical. The location was perfect for walking to the beach, restaurants, or just to take a stroll. The swimming pool was close ewith easy access. It was a quiet area with friendly neighbors. The condo had everything one needed. I highly recommend!
