Amazing Vacation and an Amazing Home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home was amazing. Not only was it clean and comfortable it was also so tastefully decorated. No complaints whatsoever and would definitely stay there again!

The location of this house cannot be beat! The neighborhood is lovely, quiet, and convenient to everything you need. It is literally across from the entrance to Wisp. The decor is great and the spacing worked well for our large group. The lower level large screen for viewing was enjoyed for movies and video games. Dog owners- while this house doesn't have a fenced in backyard the main floor is on the upper level and the door out goes directly to a balcony and the default for the balcony gate is closed. Such a nice thing to have (and you can gate the stairs to downstairs if you want). There are two full refrigerators/freezers which is awesome for large families. I will note that the basement level (two bedrooms) is FREEZING regardless of how you set the AC/heat so bring lots of extra blankets but it was even hard to be down there to hang out in August with the AC off. We came late in the summer and there were a lot of issues with the house but we find this frequently happens end of season at VRBOs. Honestly, I do place some blame on previous renters not reporting issues, not owning up to breaking things, and owners doing end of season fixes. We just got hit with quite a few at the same time and that was frustrating and I would have preferred quicker fixes and proactive tools to help (without us having to ask). That said, our concerns were acknowledged and we were content with the end results. We would rent here again but would ask to bring space heaters for the basement!

Filth

Filthy conditions. Stains on carpet were disgusting and had to be xovered up with plastic. Food and bones under beds in 2 bedrooms Trash on deck. Utensils on deck floor. Screens laying in yard from windows. Floors do dirty the bottoms of our feet were black at the end of each day. Used tissues under chairs in Masterbedroom. Low water pressure - toilets did not flush and shower pressure was AWFUL!

Great Stay!

One if the nicest, well equiped rental we've stayed in! Everything was updated and working well besides the microwave which there was an extra on the counter. Everything was cleaned well. All bedrooms had tvs which was nice! Area is beautiful with so many attractions to keep any age group entertained! We loved the fireplace that was able to be seen from in the living room or front porch! Large wooden table was big enough for our group of 10 adults to all sit together for games and meals! We would definitely return!

Super Bowl Skiing

Perfect spot to get away with some close friends to enjoy the outdoors and watch the big game. Easy to walk to the slopes. Comfortable and clean stay. Plenty of room for everyone. We’ll be back!

Perfect Place for Family with Teens

We spent a few days with the kids & their friends for skiing. The location is great and fit us well. Plenty of room. Pool Table & Hot Tub was a must for them. Loved the fireplace! This was our 2nd time staying here, and everything was in working order.

Good overall - needs some fixes

Generally speaking, the place was good. Nice layout, plenty of room for a three generational group and the location was nice. The only complaints are that the cleaning crew needs to pick up their game and the kitchen was an unorganized mess. It looked like someone just threw stuff in whatever cabinet they felt like. Considering we are all of our meals in due to Covid concerns, it made cooking a hassle the first couple meals. We finally got irritated and organized things ourselves so it made sense and we could find things. They also could update the cookware - it’s pretty beat. Once upon a time it probably didn’t matter - but with families doing more cooking at home due to Covid, it would be a very wise investment. Anyway, good overall - just need to tighten a few things up.

Da-Ja-View is wonderful house!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Da-Ja-View (305 Lake Pointe Drive) was one of four house we rented as part of my family's reunion. It is perfectly designed for large groups and quickly became the hang out house. The first floor is a great space to watch movies on the large screen, play pool or other family games. Most of the bedrooms are upstairs, along with the kitchen and living. The interior is beautiful! This was the last house we booked and I'm so glad we did.
