The cozy space was perfect for a weekend getaway. The outdoor space including a picnic table with fresh cut flowers was a nice expansion of the room.

Great place to stay while visiting Acadia

Tranquil Haven is an east 25 minute drive from the Park Visitor Center. Wendy has provided lots on nice touches to make the unit comfortable, and she communicated very well about checking and checkout. We enjoyedcour stay and would happily stay there again!

Wendy did a wonderful job of thoughtfully preparing for our stay. She thought of all the little things and she made our stay wonderful! The room is small but it is beautiful comfortable and well appointed.

Cute and cozy!

The perfect landing spot after a long day of site seeing and hiking. Very comfortable and a lot of amenities packed in a tiny space! Really appreciated the extra touches and excellent communication. Easy access to restaurants in Ellsworth and only about 30 minutes to Acadia NP. It certainly lived up to the "tranquil haven" name!

Cozy and Clean Studio

Perfect place for 2 people. Very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed, lots of thoughtful details. Close to town, and great place to stay while visiting the park. Wendy was sweet and provided excellent instructions. Would definitely consider staying again if in the area!

Charming studio

Thoughtfully appointed, everything you might need is there, comfortable studio, clean, neat. The only difficulty I had was negotiating the stairs and unlocking/opening the 2 doors while carrying bags. A wider decking at the top step would have been welcomed.

Wonderful 4-night Stay

A beautiful little efficiency apartment! I stayed 4 nights during a trip to Acadia with one other person. Wendy’s place was perfect for what we needed. Nestled in the woods about half and hour from Acadia, we were in the perfect place to visit the park without having to deal with the touristy parts! The apartment is attached to Wendy’s home but has its own private entrance. The bed is comfortable and cozy. The attached private bath is sufficient and clean. There is a sink and two-burner stove, microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator with freezer compartment. Wendy is nice enough to supply coffee, sugar, powdered creamer, mugs, dish soap, pots/pans, utensils, etc. Shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, and lotion are in the bathroom. Clothes hangers are in the closet space. There is a small TV for Netflix and such if you need it. There is also a small space heater and fan. Overall a great place to stay while visiting the area. We ran into Wendy as we were leaving and and she is delightful. Really cares about the comfort of her guests. I would stay again if I ever get back to the area.

cozy and comfortable

We spent 3 nights in this cute little apartment. It is quite small but was perfect for what we needed and the location was convenient and in a beautiful setting. The town of Ellsworth has great restaurants and stores and is only a couple miles away. Our entire experience was great with this host and this location.

Awesome little oasis

The outside grassy area with seating and fire pit, along with the screened in gazebo is seriously so awesome to sit and relax under the stars. What a wonderful experience.

Cozy and clean

This little place has everything you need. We stayed for 4days to explore Acadia national park and it was only a short drive away. There are Walmart and Hanaford near by which is convenient! Very clean and well managed.

Cozy overnight stays

My husband and I book-ended our camping trip to Acadia National Park at Wendy's place and we are so happy we did! Her place was so comfortable, easy to find, and just what we needed at the start and end of our vacay. Wendy was very helpful and responsive - we would stay again!

Peaceful stay, easy check in and out

The property is set in the woods off the highway in Ellsworth, ME, and is very quiet. It’s a small abode perfect for 1-2 people, and Wendy had a lot of nice personal touches to the place, with great care to make it so. There was no noise, even though it’s connected to her property. We stayed for one night after hiking in Acadia. I recommend. Thanks Wendy!

Quick, comfortable stay in cozy room!

This efficiency unit was exactly what my husband and I needed as we started our trip in Maine. We arrived late in the evening and had plans to head to Acadia National Park the following morning. Wendy left the light on for us since we arrived after dark, and provided helpful information whenever I reached out with questions. The bed was super comfortable! We are happy we stayed here.
