The condo is a great set up with wonderful views. The reason for the bad review is due to the management company. I emailed and called them prior to out arrival to ask a few questions and never got a response. We entered the unit, wasn't as clean as I like and compared to other units I stayed in the past. Then went to load our groceries in the refrigerator, not cold. I called maintenance and Mark called back stating it was working for previous tenants and it was probably warm as they had just cleaned it, wasn't that clean, I had to wipe it down myself. He said to update him on Sunday. Still not working. I called him back and he brought us a DORM refrigerator on Monday. I left them a message late Tuesday afternoon asking for an update and stated that that's the least they could do with the money we paid, still NO RESPONSE!! I went by their office several times, nobody was there. Finally without any communication 2 men showed up to repair the refrigerator, this was on THURSDAY AFTERNOON. They said, now you'll have a working refrigerator, I just said, well the next guest will, we leave Saturday at 10:00. I will make sure I NEVER have anything to do with Mock's Amelia Vacations. Our family hadn't been together in years, so this was very disappointing. I would consider staying in this unit again, if under different management company.
~~I owned a condo on the island for 12 years and rented it out so I understand things happen, however, we always treated our guests with the upmost respect and went above and beyond to take care of their needs. ~~
