Great place to stay with a big deck

Had a great time even seen an elk in the backyard! The deck wraps around to the back yard very spacious! Would recommend the property!

Very Relaxing and Comfortable

Well it does not get any better when an elk is grazing in the back yard upon arrival. Hung out for well over an hour.The property was amazing! Fenced in back yard and huge patio were a definite plus. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood, Close to some wonderful hikes. Really enjoyed our stay!

Great house. Great location.

Thoroughly enjoyed our too-short weekend getaway from the valley. The house is great and exactly as described. The fenced yard is perfect for the dogs. Only minor drawback is that you can only access the yard through the master bedroom. No access to the yard from the deck. But that is a minor detail. We had elk come right up to the deck and there was a pack of javelina in the neighbors yard in the middle of the night. Would/will definitely book again. Location can't be beat.

Great comfortable cabin with lots of amenities

Great location in the pine trees. Huge deck to view all the elk and other wildlife we saw. Well stocked kitchen and comfy beds. We definitely recommend this place!

Excellent Cabin get away

Nice large cabin in a nice quiet neighborhood. Cabin had plenty of room for our whole family and fur babies. Cabin was well stocked with everything we needed. Owner was very responsive on anything extra we needed.

Great option for staying in the area. Very spacious inside, with two rooms besides main bedroom, and baths. Deck is very large and well-maintained. Did have some minor issues with operating the TV. Dogs really enjoyed the deck and the fenced-in yard. Kitchen is well-equipped for cooking an preparing meals. Bonus: elk roam through the area, including the front yard!

Very nice cabin— The dogs love being on the deck and able to go outside in a fenced yard. Very quiet neighborhood we even saw elk. Reed was very quick to answer any of the email questions I had.

Amazing Cabin in Strawberry

We just love this cabin in Strawberry 🍓 It's so cozy, andbhas all the amenities . Our favorite part is the location and we love spending time on the huge Wrap around patio. The.home has a firepit outside to enjoy the cool evenings and just take in the beauty of the pines. Reed, our host is very responsive, and even took the time to ask if everything was ok at the property. This is the 2nd time staying at this property, and will definately be back! wrap around deck. A compete escape. Loved being outside on the deck.

We wanted to beat the heat and were able to thoroughly enjoy the woods of Stawberry. Was more relaxed than I can remember. I would definitely come back.

Perfect Getaway

The Cabin was exactly as pictured. It is spacious and perfect for families. The wrap around porch and fenced in backyard were great for our pups! Leslie and Reed are excellent hosts, We had a maintenance hiccup during our stay and they responded quickly and worked to resolve the issue immediately. I highly recommend this property! The location is awesome, tucked in the pines but only a mile walk to Strawberry restaurants and short drive to shops and dining in Pine. The wood burning fireplace makes for a cozy family time!

Peaceful Getaway!

We arrived to attend a wedding a mile away. The cabin was easy to get to and was very comfortable and clean. The father of the groom (my brother) stayed with us. Got some firewood at the local market in Pine, and some honey across from the market. We enjoyed the area very much. One morning we woke up to a small herd of elk crossing the road in front of us! I would not hesitate to stay here again :)

Strawberry Wedding

We loved the large deck and enjoyed spending time there. We brought our dogs and although the yard was a good size, the fence was not secure and could use improvement. Two of the bedrooms did not have fans, these would be helpful in the summer months. The house is surrounded by neighbors, good to know in case you are looking for a little more solitude. Our stay was good, just one major complaint was the cleanliness, dishes were left in the dishwasher, dusting was missed and sweeping behind the couch was not done.

Fantastic cabin, great space

Great stay for our group of 8 adults and late teens. Because if the ages, all 16+, the 4 bu k beds were rough...not super sturdy and too short for the 6 ft tall boys, but would be great with smaller kids. No dresser or anything in that room. Closets throughout, but no hangers. Game selection was very limited and most missing pieces, but we took our own, so no problem. Big RC in the closet, but no control. Gaming station and games, but no batteries for the controller.. Kitchen was great, stocked with the basics... just short an 8th coffee cup. We saw an elk and a javelina, bring your own firewood. Great weekend!

My family and I are big outdoor enthusiasts. We truly enjoy the Arizona forests and love to hike, mountain bike and fish. I grew up in Arizona and have fond memories from my childhood spending time in the outdoors. We have 2 young children who are also developing a passion for the forest and outdoors. Our kids love love love coming up to this cabin.

We bought this cabin in the summer of 2017. We fell in love with this particular cabin due to the massive amount of ponderosa pine trees located on the property. Very few cabins in Strawberry/Pine have no neighbors in front as well as tons of Pine trees on the property. Furthermore, we were able to massively expand the deck creating almost 700 sq ft of usable area. When you sit on the deck you feel as if you are in the forest. Sitting on the front portion of the deck with no neighbors in front makes feel like you are in a different world.

The interior of the cabin was fully remodeled creating a rustic feel with all of the modern amenities. 65" flat screen TV with all the cable channels, real wood burning fireplace, Netflix, high speed internet, stainless steel appliances, Keurig coffee maker, washer and dryer, plush towels. On the deck we have a gas firepit and a patio table that will hold 6 people plus even more seating towards the front. There's also a new stainless steel BBQ grill for big gatherings outside. Furthermore our massive driveway, approximately 80 feet deep by 15 feet wide, makes parking easy for several vehicles, trailers, UTV's and off road vehicles
