Last Minute Champion

Had originally booked another cabin with a different company, but due to flash flooding and power outages, we were unable to stay there. Within an hour, we were connected with Evelyn, who provided us with information and helped us get the Frontier Cabin booked. We’re so thankful for the cabin community in the area and that we were able to be connected with Cut Above Cabins and still enjoy our getaway. We experienced some weather on the first night that knocked the power out for about 12 hours, but Evelyn was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our entire stay. The property was very clean, cozy, and conveniently located just minutes from several trailheads, Lake Logan, downtown Logan, and several amazing restaurants. 10/10 would recommend! We’ll definitely be booking with Cut Above Cabins again in the future! **4wd suggested if adverse weather is in the forecast**

Relaxing weekend

The guest sent an email after their stay reporting that their girls weekend was a huge success and they all loved the cabin. There were no reports of anything that went wrong except after the fact, they mentioned that one of the bathroom fans was not working. This is the cutest little cabin in the woods you'll ever expect to find.

Host was great with communication. Before booking they were quick to be back with me with my questions as it was a last minute booking because of a last minute cancellation with another booking. The cancellation wasn’t owner fault; Cut Above benefitted from it. Very nice stay, beautiful location. Already looking at other properties for future.

This property is perfectly secluded but just minutes from restaurants and activities. The house is well maintained and has everything we needed to have an amazing stay. I highly recommend it.

The cleanest vacation rental home I’ve ever stayed in! Amenities are as described and in working order. Hot tub is beautiful and very clean. Had everything we needed and more down to the robes on the dressers in the bedrooms!

Frontier Cabin at Christmas

We are a family owned & operated business. We moved to the Hocking Hills in 2006 and have enjoyed the area very much. We started a vacation rental business in 2014 with a one bedroom cabin in the loft of our barn on our lake front property, called Lake Logan Loft. It has been such a wonderful experience over 3 years that we decided to sell our rental business in another part of the state and invest in really special residences that we could share with you! Welcome to our Cut Above Cabins, in the Hocking Hills. We have 2 large Lodges each in secluded wooded areas on several acres each. We also have Château Lake Logan opened in the winter of 2020 which will have 3-one bedroom suites and 1-two bedroom suite. We have a beautiful place for every size group, from couples to large family cabins and inbetween. We hope you will choose to stay with us when you plan our vacation to this special area known as the Hocking Hills Region.

The Frontier Cabin is one of 10 luxury Cabins. It was designed and built for couples and small families, allowing for lots of privacy with bedrooms located one on each floor with it's own bathroom. The large kitchen with a dishwasher and refrigerator makes cooking easy and fun. The covered hot tub (8 person) is a favorite. (new in 2024)
