The living room, kitchen, and master suite were all very nice, but to be charged for Covid-related extra cleaning fees when there was visible dog and human hair, dust, and dirt all over the main floor were beyond off-putting. The couch was very dirty / dusty, and there were food and crumbs of sorts under the cushions. The kitchen sink never stopped leaking, and the plumber couldn't fix the issue. The dryer was broken on the first day, but a separate technician was called and fixed it mid-way through our second day. All of the carpet was beyond filthy, and that's well known, as the stains are old. The house feels like the family who owns it just rents it out as is when they're not vacation there, as there are so many family-type knick-knacks all over the place. A lot of work needs to go into cleaning the property up between renters, and our fees for cleaning need to be refunded because the cleaning that was done was far from acceptable. That we have not been reached out to is another strike for us, as this is the second time I have communicated all of the aforementioned.
