Staying at the School House made my first trip to Gettysburg extra special! Perfect location in the pretty countryside not far from town and historical sites. Clean, quaint, comfy, and quiet - nice place to relax after a day of exploring. Communication with host was easy & helpful. Hope to stay here again when I return.

The Little Schoolhouse was a perfect place to stay, and to come back to at the end of the day. The house is lovely, the amenities were adequate for us. The location is only a few miles of easy driving (2-5 miles) to the Gettysburg Military National Park, literally driving along the side of the battlefield on Taneytown Rd. We couldn't have asked for a better location. Although there was a full kitchen, we were on vacation, so no cooking, but we did have coffee in the A.M. Close enough to any restaurants you might wish to eat at in Gettysburg. Only downside is the lack of convenient public parking.

Perfect getaway

Amish school house was beautifully done and very clean. The only things that would make it better…….a charcoal grill and a fire pit. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Love this place!

We could not be more happy with our stay at this property. It's close to all the attractions, but feels like a complete escape. They also did an incredible job renovating the interior.

I have visited Gettysburg many times in my life however I have never rented a VRBO. All I can say is for this being my first experience it certainly was grand! Amazing transformation of an old school house to a one bedroom dwelling. Super clean and the hosts are outstanding. Excellent communication and tremendous accommodation all the way around. Thank you for my best stay ever in Gettysburg! I will be back! On a side note , if you like to cook the kitchen is nicely equipped and huge! I used it my entire stay.
Priceless sunsets!
The full moon from the back deck was awesome!

Nice place to stay close to the battlefield, etc.

The schoolhouse was a clean and lovely spot. We found everything as described, and we enjoyed our stay there. It's just right for a small group to be close to the battlefield, museum, etc. We would stay here again!

Loved everything

Everything about this was great. The host was very responsive to questions. The house was located in a fairly secluded area, yet was close to everything and very cozy. We would definitely stay here again if ever back in the area!

Perfect

The school house is a perfect location while visiting Gettysburg. Just minutes to the battlefield and town. The house was very comfortable, well equipped, beautiful inside, and very clean. I will definitely stay again when visiting.

Sweet Little Schoolhouse

This lovely cottage is about 6 miles from Gettysburg in a country setting. Very comfortably furnished, we were able to relax after full days of sightseeing. We certainly had everything we needed and would gladly visit again!

Another great stay

This is our go to place to stay when in Gettysburg. It’s well maintained and clean. This little place has everything you need for a comfortable stay and is close to all the attractions but far enough away for peaceful, quiet nights.
