歴史的で最近改装された2階建ての農家の大農場。 農家のテーブル、島、再生された木製の壁、棚などのカスタムウッドの特徴を用いて美しく整えられています。 独特のモダンで折衷的な装飾。 滝、ナイアガラパークウェイ、ナイアガラオンザレイク、カジノ、ワイナリー、そしてカナダ最大の屋外アウトレットモールの近くに位置しています。 フルキッチンと屋外のスペースが家族や友人を楽しませる準備ができている、どんな季節でも素晴らしい集合場所です。

この家はもともと「Halfway House」として知られ、1839年にエリーとオンタリオの鉄道によって建てられました。 これはアッパーカナダで初めてで、クイーンズトン（滝の下）からチッパワ（滝の上）まで11マイルの旅で人々や物資を運ぶ馬車でした。 Halfway Houseは、長い間ナイアガラの断崖を過ぎてから馬を乗り換えることができるように、電車の車から降りることを要求された旅行者の居酒屋として建てられました。 1905年に家は元の居酒屋の石造りの基礎の上に再建されました。 元の鉄道からの美しい石造りの納屋はまだプロパティに存在します。

Great property and location close to many Niagara activities. The host was terrific and the house was a great balance of modern updates with historic charm. The outdoor space is a highlight you won't forget. I highly recommend staying here.

Historic home with nice yard and charm

We enjoyed the historic home and great location. The road noise specifically motorcycles took a while to get used to when trying to sleep.It did quiet down about 11 PM and restarted at 7 AM. We don’t live by a busy road so it woke up my younger son. White noise helped some. The rest of us got used to it after a couple days. Back yard was beautiful and we enjoyed making a fire in the fire pit. Kid loved throwing football in side yard.

We would come back in a heartbeat! Such a lovely, clean house with lovely hosts and a beautiful garden area. Super convenient to get to Niagara Falls and back. The Falls can be so busy so it’s nice to have a quiet space to come back to. Niagara on the Lake was a wonderful bonus and not too far either. This is a special place for sure!

Beautiful home with so much character

We came for a University graduation trip for our 22 year old daughter who wanted some rest and relaxation close to nature. This property is beautiful. The home is decorated with so much character and history. The garden is beautiful and relaxing. It is located close to the falls, Niagara-on-the lake and anything else you would like to do in the area. The hosts are so kind and helpful. We would love to come back again.

Great getaway!

What a lovely little house! The decor was a very charming mix of farmhouse and modern. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The main bathroom is gorgeous and very spacious. Our only wish was we'd come a few weeks later to see all the gardens with spring blooms!

Girls weekend away

Had the most amazing time. The house exceeded our expectations. We loved the old charm feel, along with the creaky floors. We got to enjoy the outdoor space sitting around the fire pit. We will definitely be back.

Great get away

The property was above our expectations. The host was amazing. Great tips and so centrally located it was the perfect spot. I can't rave enough about this house and location. Exactly as described and so cutely decorated. We will be staying again for our annual trip to Canada. The owners did an amazing job. Thanks for a fabulous time

Great historical place!

This old house has a lot of history, very nice backyard too. It’s well situated between the falls and the vineyards. As mentioned by other people, it is situated on a busy road. We live in the country and are used to sleeping in a quiet environment so we brought some earplugs and we slept fine. My kids and my parents slept without earplugs without problem. Comfortable mattresses. Brand new or well cleaned BBQ. And we had a bottle of wine waiting for us on the dining table. Very good experience.

Lovely Historic Home

The house and back yard were enjoyable. The traffic noise due to rerouted construction was a little loud during the day. This would be a temporary issue. The location was perfect for visiting the Niagara area. Also, the owner had an excellent NY bottle of wine for us at arrival. Everything you would need for a long stay was supplied.

awesome property

We had a long weekend hanging out with friends at this property. It was great to have a full kitchen and large table to have breakfast and dinner at. We also used the large outdoors table and gas grill, followed by sitting around a fire. The grounds are park like. The location was perfect for us, about 15 minutes from Niagara On the Lake and from the falls. Many wineries nearby also. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

Pet peve.

For some reason our small dog, (Bichonpoo) would not walk on the wooden floors of the house, she would only stand on the rugs, and would not move off of them, if you tried to entice her to come on her leish she just froze on the spot. to the point where she would pull back from you with all her might. Unfortunately this was upsetting to us and cast a shadow on our overall experience.

This property was a diamond in the rough when purchased in 2017. It was in a complete state of decline. It has been painstakingly restored and modernized creating a high level of charm and comfort. We have since restored the original Carriage House next door which we also offer as a vacation rental property (see listing VRBO 1648559).

この宿泊施設の特徴

This Farmhouse is filled with rustic charm within. The patina of the original wood floors tell the story of over a century of constant use. Introduced modern elements provide a striking contrast to its historic past and provide all the convenience and comforts of modern living.

The outside space is a dream garden with a patio for dining that includes a gas grill. A secluded fire pit area provides a wonderful retreat and includes firewood. The garden has been professionally designed and is planted with hundreds of spring bulbs, perennials, trees and shrubs, surrounded by mature specimen trees. The back and side yard are enclosed with a combination of fencing, stonewalling and gates.
