Glenwood Pond Cottageは、2017 - 18年に30年間の島の住民によって再建されました。コテージは、アカディア国立公園への入り口からわずか4.7マイルに位置する、私有地の未舗装道路のそばの松林に囲まれています。マウントデザート島の中心部に位置し、人気の観光地バーハーバー（6マイル）、ノースイーストハーバーとサウスウェストハーバーの村を含むマウントデザート島の「静かな場所」に簡単にアクセスできます。。

Quiet and peaceful stay

We really enjoyed our time in the Acadia area and found the house to be a great fit for our family. It had everything we needed and was located in a quiet and peaceful area.

It was great

The house was beautiful. I loved the location. It was quiet and peaceful, but close to town where everything was going on. We could have stayed longer. The host and owner were great for anything we needed. Would definitely stay again

Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again! Perfect location to Acadia,and downtown Bar Harbor! Very clean, and more than enough room for our family of four to hang out and have our own space. Kitchen didn’t lack anything either. We had a bit of an unexpected heat wave so a little warm to sleep without AC but plenty of fans. We all worked on the harbor puzzle during the week after long hikes during the day :)

This place was just perfect for three couples - three bedrooms and three full baths. We were close enough to more lobster than we could eat and more mountains and trails than we could hike on Mount Desert Island. The house opened with a code, instructions were clear for all things about the house, it was clean as a whistle and had lots of light. The kitchen looked like it had everything we would need if we had cooked, but we only used the coffee maker. The towels were thick, fluffy and plentiful, the sheets were soft, hair dryers and fans were provided, and the laundry was perfect as we began our second week in Maine. We would definitely recommend this VRBO!

Great family stay

Nice, secluded area but still close to town and the park. The house was comfortable for 4 adults and 2 kids, and had everything we needed. We had a wonderful trip and would definitely stay again!

The Maine experience

Family vacation , teen to adult children.Enjoyed our stay at this typical Maine style home . Spotlessly clean ,hardwood floors , well equipped home.Enjoyed grilling on the deck and spotting deer in the surrounding woods .For the Floridians there is no central cooling as we are accustomed too there are standing fans in the bedrooms . Opening windows are not an option due to bugs . So maybe warm in July and August .

Perfect spot

This house was a perfect location for exploring different parts of Acadia/Mount Desert Island. So glad our family of 5 stayed here (rather than trying to squeeze into hotel rooms in Bar Harbor). Clean/comfortable/spacious house and helpful hosts!

Great house to stay in

This was a great house to stay in. It was clean and comfortable. It is a nice short scenic drive from Bar Harbor and Acadia which was convenient. We would stay here again if we plan another trip to Maine.

Fantastic Home on Mount Desert Island

This property is very nice. We were in the area to hike in Acadia National Park, and the location was excellent for this purpose. Nice big bathrooms and very easy check in.

Acadia Vacation

Clean, plenty of room, well-stocked (The house had everything we needed.) The pond and neighborhood were great for our morning walks. Convenient location to Acadia NP (5.6mi to Hulls Cove visitor center) and Bar Harbor. Did not miss A/C, but fans came in handy. Convenient to Town Hill market (great blueberry pie)

Spacious home in a wonderful location

This is our second year staying at this home and loved it again. The house is conveniently located about 15-20 minutes to Bar Harbor, Northeast Harbor, and Southwest Harbor. This spacious home is very private and offers many comfortable amenities. It is very clean - has a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, a nice enclosed porch and great laundry room. It is a wonderful place to hang out with friends and family.

Great house and location!

Thank you for the wonderful stay! The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The house is tucked back in the woods and has privacy, which was great for a trip to Maine. Its a short drive,10-15 min, to various places in bar harbor and acadia, very easy.. We would definitely come back! Thank you!

Lovely and secluded home away from home

We absolutely loved staying here! The house was well-appointed with everything we needed, exceptionally clean, and close enough to everything (Acadia, Bar Harbor) while feeling totally private and secluded. Beds and linens were comfy, fantastic stove/oven for cooking, and a great gas grill. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water for showers after a day on the trail. And prompt and courteous communication from the hosts. Everything you want in a vacation stay!

Quiet woodsy retreat

The home was beautiful, clean & very accommodating, nice sun room with contemplative space for quiet time. Very busy days out & about as the house was secluded in the woods but very close to everything, we enjoyed the private setting & coming home at night to enjoy the beautiful display of fire flies dancing in the woods “ spectacular “. Comfortable beds giving us a wonderful night’s sleep 😊👏

Spacious, well maintained, super clean cottage in a great location!

This was our 5th trip to Bar Harbor to celebrate our 40th anniversary. The cottage was the best maintained and cleanest rental property that we've every stayed in, anywhere. Its in a great central location and the nearby pond was relaxing a walk away and a good spot for lunch. Amber was very helpful and easy to work with. We plan to return next year.

Mount Desert Island

We were very pleased with this property. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch, both in the morning and the evening, enjoying the solitude of the location. After a day of hiking and then often going into Bar Harbor to eat, it was such a blessing to go out to our place in the woods for the night. We had two couples staying together, and both couples said they would love to come back sometime and stay here again.
