Beautiful Beach House

My dog and I stayed here in February. The house was clean & comfortable. The location & view of beach is amazing! So nice to be able to walk down to beach at anytime.

This house is convenient to the beach and we loved that during our stay. Also, the ice maker made very tasty ice, which is not always the case at the beach. However, the house is kind of run down and, for the price we paid, that was disappointing. The stairway to the lower level is hazardous due to different heights of risers. The kitchen really needs some attention paid to the cooking utensils - specifically, the skillets stick terribly and are therefore not useable, and there were lots of knives, but none of them was sharp. The beds were comfortable and the furniture was serviceable. The porch furniture was comfortable and sturdy, and there is a beautiful view of the ocean from the porch. But generally speaking, I feel this house needs a little love from its owners. We had a good time, and if it had cost half as much, we would have been very happy.

Amazing Home

This home was PERFECT. They had games, books, firepit, and even some chairs and beach toys to supplement what we brought. You can tell the home was taken care of and well loved and maintained. Would stay here again for sure!

Beautiful

Absolutely loved this place. We spent most of the time on the beach, which is just as close as it looks in the pictures. We had no issues with the amenities and the sprayer outside helped keep tracking sand inside to a minimum. Property is well kept but some of the grass is growing through the walkway to the beach and should get trimmed soon.

Ocean view from the living room and master bedroom only. But the view was amazing!!All rooms except for the master bedroom got very hot with door closed.Roaches on the floor in the basement and smell that resembled kerosine noted in the basement.

Beach escape

Location was great. Kitchen is stocked, could use some new pans. Space was comfortable for 7 adults. Several issues occurred while we were there, the staff was prompt at responding and sending a service tech out. A simple check list for the cleaning crew could have avoided a few of the issues.

Great beach access

We really enjoyed our stay on Oak Island at this home. There were some repairs that needed to be made while we were there and the management company was responsive. It’s no fun having repairs made while you’re on vacation, so we opted out of them fixing some of them. The dishwasher was not working and the master shower needed work. The back porch is great, and the beach access is unmatched. Make sure to bring your own extras like salt, oil, extra toilet paper, and nice bath towels.

Lovely beach house!

Home was lovely. Great vibe, and even better location. Paved driveway was a plus for what it’s worth. We had a great time, as did our pups :)! Cleaning service was not up to par and missed a number of things; fans were not dusted and hadn’t been in a while, and under the couches was pretty nasty, also hadn’t been cleaned under there in a while. Also, the linens provided were poor quality. I would recommend bringing your own unless they upgrade the sheets & towels.

Great stay! First time on Oak Island but definitely won’t be our last! Very comfortable accommodations. The maintenance staff was extremely efficient when we had a couple of minor issues with AC and dryer but immediately came out to fix. Would definitely recommend!

It’s an older home but everything was in good condition. Loved the proximity to the beach. Carpet downstairs and rugs upstairs need cleaned but considering it’s the end of July it’s understandable. Only real issue was the 2nd and 3rd bathroom shower was musty and shower curtain and liner was very heavily stained. Great week.
