Beach front beautiful

You can't beat the location. Right at the beach only steps to the water. The view from the living room and patio is spectacular. Nice seating for morning coffee or evening wine. We would sit and watch the kids play right below. Owners super responsive and helpful! Condo is spaciousa and had everything we needed. Plenty pots and pans, plates and cups and the washer/dryer were so nice to have especially with kids. We traveled with 3adults and 4 kds aged 5 to 11 and had plenty of space to lounge, eat, and play games. Lots of towels and extra blankets available. Murphy bed was awesome! The bed in master and guest room were really hard. Too hard for our liking but if you like a firm mattress it'll be fine. The Murphy bed and bunk bed mattresses were soft. Bottom of the stairs held our beach toys and chairs without worry anyone would take them. Pool underneath building was fine, a bit small but honestly enough for the kids especially when they needed a moment to get out of the sun. Stores super close and convenient. Parking right next to unit. Beach house kitchen and cocktails restaurant was amazing and super reasonably priced. Right down the street! Must go eat there! No extra spices or trash bags or other household items available which is normal but prepare to bring or buy extra. Starter items are provided though and got us through he first couple days. Overall the home exceeded our expectations and we would absolutely return! We plan to!

View and steps from beach

It was clean. Close to everything and good location in the beach. We stayed in an end unit and our deck with beachfront. We had several things there that I didn’t know was there like iron, coffee pot and Keri’s box fans. These where just a few extras that I had brought not k owing they had. We would stay here again

Wonderful stay

I have nothing but great things to say about our stay. I actually tried to book again later this summer but sad to see it’s fully booked but I completely understand why. The beach access is perfection, very nice accommodations and excellent location.

Perfect location & view

Unit is beautiful. Our only complaint is that when we arrived at 6:30pm, unit had not been cleaned (beds all dirty & towels in tub & dirty dishes). Left 2 messages with owner and no return call or text. Found # on fridge of cleaning company & they were very helpful. Came out next day and cleaned, but we still had to stay up until 1:30am washing & drying our bedding so we could sleep (after driving 10 hours)

Loved the deck!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!. The property was very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. When not walking on the beach, playing golf, or shopping, we were firmly planted on the deck to enjoy the ocean. The only minor improvements I'd suggest are adding a plug or cover for the bathtub drain for those who want to take a bath and updating and/or providing a thorough cleaning/descaling to the water reservoir in the Keurig. There were other guests who came the same day we did and they stayed in the unit directly above us, and we never heard a peep from upstairs. The direct access to the beach was exactly what we were looking for and exactly what we got!

Great location and view

This was a well equipped property with a beautiful view and comfortable beds. We enjoyed our stay and would think of returning. No hairdryer but we used the washer/dryer and kitchen.

Excellent property

We enjoyed our stay at Spyglass 101A. Marty was excellent to work with, answered all of my many questions and we had a wonderful week. The property is just as described, nicely decorated and very comfortable. It was clean and we would definitely stay again. The views alone are spectacular!

Great place!

We loved staying here! Walk down stairs from your balcony right onto the beach. This was perfect for my husband and I and our two kids. You can sleep more than four though, with a Murphy bed in the living room and a bunk bed plus double bed in the kids room. There is also a convenience store, good restaurant (Beach House) and ice cream place within walking distance.

The title says it all - we do not frequently revisit the places we vacation. This trip has changed that for us and we will definitely be back next year! Everything about this place from the accomodations to the amenities to the proximity to the ocean & excellent local eateries was ideal!

Location is perfection! Beautiful beach and access!

This property location and size gets 10 stars! Its a small complex which is private and less busy. The balcony looks right towards the beach, 100 feet from the deck and you are on the beach. The condo inside needs some maintenance but easy repairs like broken decorations, seal around shower hanging off, seal around exterior door hanging off, and sliding glass door/lock was difficult. The biggest problem was that there was no extra toilet paper, only allowed 2 rolls each bathroom. This is an excellent rental on Gulf Shores if you like quiet, less busy than the larger condos, and prime beach spot. You can rent the chairs and umbrella right outside this condo. Its a 1.5 mile walk on the beach to the Hangout Restaurant. Love this location!!!

I’m so thankful I was blessed by choosing this place! Everything was perfect- mattresses, rooms, the easy access to beach. My grandkids loved it and so did we. Hoping to come back and use this condo!

Great stay, perfect view!

My family loved our stay at this condo. It was very clean, updated, and had a perfect view for our morning coffee with a short walk to the beach from our deck. Beds were very comfortable. I can’t say enough about the location/view of the condo, we will book again and have referred our family and friends as well! Host was great to work with!

Perfect little beach house!

Loved this place for our family of 5! Location is unbeatable! Close to everything! Directly on beach, private beach access. Beautiful views! The pool is nice and shaded. House is very clean and smells good! Beds and couch are comfortable! We plan to stay again!

This is our 2nd property in Gulf Shores and wanted to stay with a low-density complex with parking directly at the condo. This end-unit beach-view condo overlooks the ocean and is conveniently located to all the cool places we love to visit in Gulf Shores.

The majority of units on this property are owners who stay at their condos at least a few times a year. It has a truly unique family-friendly atmosphere and we're already making new friends since purchasing Spyglass101-A.

The complex and its beach are UNCROWDED and ON THE BEACH! The shaded pool is great when you need a break from the sun, and is directly under our condo.

The private parking right beside the condo and walking inside is so much easier than parking lots and elevators!
