Disappointing and aggravating
Aside from the fact that this property was poorly kept up, (I am used to old Tel Aviv apartments and would not have complained) the property management has insisted that we lost a key (we did not!) and that we broke a ceiling fixture (it was broken when we got there), and that - aha!- they found a broken chair after we left (not sure who broke it, but it definitely was not us). They have resisted listening to my reasonable explanations (I believe their employee is a bit crazy- he lies a lot), and I think they have kept my deposit. I have been renting apartments in Tel Aviv since 2007 and have never had a complaint. Also in other parts of Israel. These people don't answer their phones (no answering service), and the employee caused a big problem with the hot water boiler switch, and then refuse to acknowledge it was his fault the I told him about it. I made a complaint to the Ministry of Tourism - to no avail. (Not that they didn't believe me -they said they are not resposible for private transactions.) I rented though VRBO as they have a good reputation -I did not realize I would be moved to another management company.. Now I hear these crazy people have posted a bad guest review - so I am filling this out to clarify my position.
