This is a beautful small home on Lake Santeelah, very clean, upgraded. We enjoyed our stay here. Communication with the owners was easy and they very kindly accomodated a date change for us. We were surprised no to have a washer and dryer so we suggest just making that clear in the listing. Thank you!

This lake house had a stunning view! It was quiet, relaxing and serene. The house was updated and very clean. We very much enjoyed our stay and definitely hope to return. Communication with the host was prompt, accommodating and friendly.

We had a great time kayaking, relaxing and enjoying perfect weather. The house was well maintained, the outdoor patio was perfect, and we loved having easy access to grill. Check in and checkout were very easy, too.

Thoroughly enjoyed using the canoe, kayaks, and paddleboards to explore beautiful Lake Santeetlah. House is clean and well taken care of. Great outdoor spaces - deck, docks, and swing. Easy check-in and checkout.

We want to go back!

My husband and I and our two youngest sons had an amazing stay. The view of the lake from the porch is stunning. We enjoyed this spot for reading or playing games at night after a day on the water(my husband rented a boat from nearby marina). The house is clean, cozy, updated and well maintained. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals. Although it is a small home, it lives large. We all loved this place and hope we can return soon.

A wonderful lakefront cabin for relaxing or adventure

We stayed at this cute little place a few years ago and liked it so much that we came back this year...and are already planning another trip later this summer with our 10yo son! It is a lovely place with 2 covered decks overlooking the lake. We really like that it comes with standup paddleboards, kayaks, and a canoe and has easy lake access from the private dock. While the description does mention a gas firepit, we didn't see it, but didn't really miss it at all. We highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway at a beautiful and enjoyable lake.

The perfect summer getaway

We came for a week in July to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We had a wonderful relaxing stay and so enjoyed the amenities, we swam, kayaked, canoed. We really appreciated the easy communication with Marc - he was so kind, responsive, calm, and helpful! This is a beautiful home and Lake Santeetlah is incredible. Don't miss hiking at Joyce Kilmer.

Perfection

This home is the perfect lake house. My husband and I stayed for 8 nights. The porch was absolutely wonderful. We sat and had coffee (or cocktails) every single day. The home is exceptionally clean and well stocked. The linens were high quality and the bed was very comfortable. The use of the kayak and paddle board was an added bonus. Easy paddle out of the cove and the sunset and mountain views were spectacular. We will definitely book again. Cannot wait to return!!

Great Place in a Special Place

Awesome spot in a beautiful surrounding. Marc was a great host! Had a few bumps but he was straightforward and steadfast in trying to rectify things. He went above and beyond. The area is really starting to develop. Sadly, not everyone cares about fitting into the surroundings as much as Marc does. His place is perfect for the environment.

Perfect getaway

What a beautiful, perfect getaway! Absolutely stunning setting located on the lake, very clean house and well maintained inside and out. Lots of options for paddle boarding, kayaking, hiking nearby or just taking in local sights. Highly recommend this place and the owner was always communative making the entire process relaxing and stress free!

Top Shelf Lakeside Experience

This was our third time staying at this lakeside cottage so we clearly enjoy the accommodations! We needed to adjust the dates of our stay and the owner was prompt in communication and generous at every turn. Springtime on Santeetlah Lake is as beautiful and it is peaceful. We spent a day on the lake by renting one of the new pontoon boats at Santeetlah Boat Rentals. Do yourself a favor and check those fine folks out if you get a chance. Nearby hikes and scenic drives are exceptional. The cottage was in great shape, amenities were abundant and the property was booming with flowers. Lovely setting. The one downside, and it came as a surprise, was the construction happening every week day with two new homes next door. Roofers and rock movers were working from morning to evening. It was a bit of a buzzkill if you like to enjoy morning coffee overlooking the lake because the noise was nonstop. Hopefully the work will be done soon and future renters will enjoy the space without interruption. Regardless, we love this place and will be back.

Relaxing stay at the lake

Me and my fiancee stayed for a few days at this cottage and we had an amazing time. It was a perfect getaway from everyday busy life to a nice retreat in the peace and quiet of the lake. If you're looking for a cozy cottage and peace and quiet, this is the go-to place. We couldn't be happier with our stay and will absolutely look back into renting again!

Family getaway

The best! The cottage is one of the best all around VRBO stays we have ever had. All the furnishings are better than other stays and the cottage is well appointed for all your needs. The neighborhood and surrounding towns are a great addition too! Communication is thorough and responsive. Highly recommend!
