This was our second trip back... but so different from 1st experience. We walked in and place stunk. Smelled of old towel, body odors...and smokers. Very gritty and dirty. We spent our first full evening cleaning, sweeping and mopping floors, washing towels and washing many glasses, silverware and dishes. Went to cook and also pund dirty pots and pans. Went to later build a fire in the firepit, which we really enjoyed 1st trip, to find it had mounds on each side of cigarett butts. We had texted and complained the managers, and then got bumped up to someone else in the chain to text and complain to more and explain story and send all of our photos to of the dirty place. To top it off note on fridge said to have garbage cans, that were stinky overflowing, put out by curb that night as next day pickup. Cans sat out for several days and we finally figured out day must have changed. We notified managemnt, and also resident manager who never responded. I had to mask garbages down and burn what cardboard and paper I could to get by. We got lots of "so sorry" comments... and that was it! Maid should be fired or warned, and prior smoking tenants should be banned. We ended up washing blanket and couch throws, and airing out the comforter outside after washing it which helped a little bit, but not 100%. I will not go back until they verify no smokers ahead of us, and that new towels and bedding have been replaced. We are still amazed of no further follow up or contacts about our experience since we departed last month?
