We loved our experience at this cozy cabin. The hosts were very welcoming and we felt as if it was a home away from home. Sitting under the stars in the hot tub felt magical in this scenic place. We enen saw a bald eagle. We would definitely recommend this house. It was amazing!

My regret is rhat we only stayed four days -- beautifilul location, comfortable and clean.It is 35 - 45 minutes from Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park. The road to and from the VRBO is beautiful and not too much traffic.The interior and exterior is very relaxing.

Great yard adjacent to rapid creek, neat setting. Didn't have time to enjoy the hot tub and outdoor music system, maybe next time. Location was good, road construction took a little longer to get around. Overall comfortable place to enjoy the Black Hills

Great home with convenient location to mt Rushmore. The yard is huge and waterfront area has seating to help you enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The tiny house with hot tub was a huge hit with our kids and the dogs loved the yard to stretch their legs after a long day of travel. I'd definitely stay here again.

Great stay

The property is spectacular, absolutely beautiful. Only problem we had was we should have booked more time! We would love to stay again, host was quick to respond. Had plenty of clean towles, loved all the coffee and tea options. Overall very nice stay!

Family weekend getaway

Hi, we're Jennifer and Robert — passionate travelers, proud Black Hills locals, and dedicated hosts with over 8 years of experience creating memorable stays for our guests.
Robert is a former Army pilot who still flies for the love of it, and we spend our winters at an airpark in Texas before heading back to the beautiful Black Hills each spring. We've seen a lot of the world, which is exactly why we know what makes a great guest experience — the little details matter, the space should feel like home, and you should never have to wonder if your hosts care.
We do.
The Black Hills are our favorite place on earth and we love sharing them with visitors from all over the world. Jennifer has a passion for photography, family, and our dog, and brings that same eye for detail to every one of our properties. This stretch of the Black Hills is one of the most scenic and wildlife-rich corridors in all of South Dakota. We chose it because nowhere else can you step outside and fish for trout, watch bighorn sheep graze across the creek, and be just 1 minute from Thunderhead Falls — one of the most beautiful and visited attractions in the Black Hills. You're 15 minutes west of Rapid City, close enough for convenience but far enough to feel completely immersed in nature. Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, Custer State Park, and the Badlands are all within easy reach, making this the ultimate Black Hills base camp.
