The place was amazing! Loved the seat by the creek just to sit and listen to the water. The hot tub was perfect. Very easy check in and out and responded immediately if needing anything. Our two corgis loved it too!!

Everything was amazing. It felt like your own little oasis. Location was great. If your looking fof a quick meal, I suggest the Moontime Grill. It's just 2 minutes up the road. Highly recommend this listing and we will be back!

Great place for a relaxing couples getaway. The creek is peaceful and the hot tub is a great spot also. The only critique is that the deck could use some maintenance.

The locations and setting of the cabin was outstanding. The creek running along the backside of the cabin was so peaceful. Plenty of outdoor areas to sit and enjoy nature. There were only 4 of us so we just used the upstairs area. It had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and it has 2 bathrooms We did not use the downstairs which had a finished bedroom no bathroom and the rest of the downstairs was an open area with no drop ceiling. It is an older cabin but the outside view is wonder! We had deer in the yard on the morning we had to leave. We would stay there again.

The house was spotless, comfortable, and had a warm rustic charm. It was exceptionally well stocked, and whenever a need arose, the hosts responded quickly and took care of it right away.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found it to be the perfect central location for exploring everything this area of South Dakota has to offer. In the evenings, we loved relaxing on the deck, sitting by the rushing creek, or unwinding in the hot tub.We prepared breakfast and dinner each day and packed picnic lunches for our adventures. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, making meal preparation easy and enjoyable. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

I had a wonderful stay here at this cabin. It was clean and looked like the photos. The stream behind the house was very relaxing and we loved the hot tub. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a peaceful retreat in nature. It’s about 20 mins away from rapid city.

My family enjoyed our stay at the creekside home, especially the beautiful running creek to soak our feet into. The kitchen and baths were well stocked. Home was clean and neat. With hot weather, we had plenty of fans and a few portable A/Cs. Lots of blankets. We didn't use the spa due to our time limit. The TV downstairs is in main room not bedroom which is nice for kids. The host was quickly responsive if any questions. Location- there are no quick access stores very close so bring foods or needs prior.

We enjoy our stay! The only complaint would be my daughter said the pump ran in the basement on and off all night. Other than that all good.

Hi, we're Jennifer and Robert — passionate travelers, proud Black Hills locals, and dedicated hosts with over 8 years of experience creating memorable stays for our guests.
Robert is a former Army pilot who still flies for the love of it, and we spend our winters at an airpark in Texas before heading back to the beautiful Black Hills each spring. We've seen a lot of the world, which is exactly why we know what makes a great guest experience — the little details matter, the space should feel like home, and you should never have to wonder if your hosts care.

The Black Hills are our favorite place on earth and we love sharing them with visitors from all over the world. Jennifer has a passion for photography, family, and our dog, and brings that same eye for detail to every one of our properties. We chose it because nowhere else can you step outside and fish for trout, watch bighorn sheep graze across the creek, and be just 1 minute from Thunderhead Falls — one of the most beautiful and visited attractions in the Black Hills. You're 15 minutes west of Rapid City, close enough for convenience but far enough to feel completely immersed in nature. Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, Custer State Park, and the Badlands are all within easy reach, making this the ultimate Black Hills base camp.
