Very clean cabin with comfortable furnishings. Had everything we needed, and more. Hosts were friendly and made sure we were content. Highly recommend for a simple fishing getaway.

Adorable cottage with great views! Very quiet area! Rick and Shelly were excellent hosts with great recommendations! They were there if we needed anything at all and just incredibly kind and helpful people. Would absolutely stay here again!

For up north fishing cabins they where excellent. The owners are friendly and welcome you like family.

Just what we needed!

Nice clean cabin with a beautiful view of the lake. Perfect location, able to dock pontoon right in front of cabin. Owners very friendly and knowledgeable of the surrounding lakes. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect

This was our second stay at RiShells, this time in Cabin #2. It was just as perfect as our first stay. Rick and Shelly are great hosts and we can't wait to get back in September.

Birchwood stay

Everything about the cabin was great, the owners were friendly and the pontoon was almost brand new and in great shape. Overall great experience and we are already planning on returning next year. Cabin 2 is a 2-3 ppl max cabin. Lastly the fishing is pretty good to.

Peaceful

I was working in the area for the week and my wife was working remotely. It was great to have a view of the lake each night after a day of work. We were able to use our kayaks each day and able to unwind with nature. Rick was the perfect host of keeping us informed of the area.

Everything was great! I just couldn't enjoy the activities, as just before we came, I wretched my knee, requiring crutches. It was so nice that there were no stairs! We would like to come again, this time in good health!

RiShells Echo Bay Resort

Rick and Shelly provide excellent service to meet the needs of their guests. The property is well maintained to provide guests with homey surroundings. I will return at a future date.

Excellent long weekend getaway

I spent a relaxing extended weekend with my dog at this cabin, and it was lovely. It's right on the water, and has a partially shaded/sunny yard with a calming view of Birch Lake. The area was extremely quiet during my stay- you can hear the birds chirp and the wind rustle the trees. The cabin itself was quaint, cozy and as described. The owners are helpful and kind. I rented a kayak from them one day to explore the lake- they also have boats available. There's hiking trails close by (Murphy Flowage and Hunt Hill Audubon Society) among others. This was a great end-of-summer recharge- I would return in the future. :)

Perfect Quiet Retreat

This little cabin was perfect for what I needed :) Everything in the cabin was immaculate, and everything that I needed in the kitchen was close at hand (I had brought a kettle to boil water for tea, but there was one already there!) I had mentioned that I wanted a quiet place for a retreat in my VRBO request to stay, and Rick even went to the trouble of not blowing leaves near the cabin, while I was there. Very nice place, didn't feel uncomfortable one iota, especially when traveling by myself. Would love to return in the future. :)

Cute, cozy, clean - what more do you need?

This was a perfect little escape for our family of three - Rick and Shelly are excellent hosts and we had everything we needed. The breeze off the lake was refreshing and we rented a pontoon one of our days there to explore out on the water. We will be back!
